    Re: Leisure CM10FRC (range cooker)

leisure use thermal cut-outs at rear of appliance … most are like the ones on beko cookers …. ( built in to wire)
but there also some with the little round cut-outs as well …

    check
    new fan is running
    is evap getting enough ice
is evap defo heater faulty evap will over freeze ??

if all this is ok check drain hole heater , the little pink wires that go down drain corrode >> this leaves the fridge on defo mode ..

    hope this helps

    Re: Just lost the job

we normally advise customers that we wont warranty any part that they are able to get cheaper of the net…

if they want our services with a peace of mind warranty on the job then they have pay…

if not they can go else where…most are ok when you explain

    Re: JTM again!

we were very good at chasing jtm for returns etc, we had a specialist in our office due to the fact he spent most of his working day dealing with jtm… in the end we felt jtm were not worth the hassle,

even after chasing credits etc we still couldnt make it work , we were inv for 100 jobs average per month , but were always in debit due to parts..

really pity anyone working for them, what a way to work..

find it ludicrous the prices they charge for hec parts as the appliance only cost peanuts ..

    Re: JTM again!

dont think centrica would be intrested , i think they are now getting the picture with whitegoods , as far as i can make out they are downsizing
mostly by get rid of excess engineers who are not following the BG code to the letter , heard of lots of dismissals latley …

lots of de-moralised engineers -, even managers asking to be put back on tools ….
who would of thought putting clueless gas managers in charge of a whitegoods buisness would have such an impact..

    lol ….

    Re: JTM again!

maybe their not allowed to treat their 0800 baby the same way as their agents …

dont know if they have managed to learn how to do it correctly and are reserving for 0800..

anyway .. agree with kwatt there will more than likley be a rational explanation for the poor service some agents have had.. but still doesnt help these agents trying to deal with jtm..

thankkfully we are not involved, we ditched due to the severe stress it was causing to all our staff , office consantly chasing credit spares payment, engineers running around for nothing and then jtm asking for payment for spares we had sitting on the shelf waiting for return …
    nasty…

if i could mention a possible way forward, jtm should provide warranty spares foc and poss offer some van stock..

this way agents would be getting billed for expensive spares sitting around waiting on returns.. and van stock would help 1st time fix- as 2 visits for the low rate offered is also a factor in the service loop

    Re: JTM again!

    yip i agree ,
we had the exact same problems every month, unless you have nothing else to do but chase them up for returns, payment, etc every day you wont make anything…

we tried them when we lost servis to fill a gap , what a total waste of time …

gdar and servis were angels compared to this mob..

really hope they dont treat their 0800 setup the same way..
