    Re: Samsung RS21 water container

one of the pipes runs from fridge to bottom of frz door , and the other runs down through fridge comp to water valve at rear

    Best way to do this
1 cut water pipes in fridge & unscrew old bottle
2 pull old pipe through at kick plate
3 screw new bottle back on , and feed new front side pipe so it comes out at kick plate- connect back up under door
( check end of old pipe at connector as there is a little plastic end that you need to take of old pipe and fit onto new one) ..
4 take backplate of and disconnect pipe at water valve
    5 pull old pipe through
6 feed new pipe through from inside fridge..
7 reconnect at rear water valve…

    job done

a bit tricky but should only take 30 mins max…a

    Re: JTM again!

i think you will find just about everyone that has the misfortune to deal with jtm have had all the hassle you seem to be having ..

we recently ditched them as we were never making money always seemed to owe them more on spares …

we would order motor module for one of their quality products lol,
motor would arrive priced about £140, then we would wait 4-6 weeks on module, module would then arrive cost about £100 , but by this time customer has been back into retailer and had an exchange…

leaving us with £240 worth of spares, it would normally take about 10 phone calls and 3-4 hours worth of chasing jtm to get unwanted items returned …. and then more telephone calls /time chasing a credit on account…

we had about 10-15 jobs a month like this …always owing £2000+ on unwanted spares ..

totally impossible situation , if anyone is making money from jtm please let me know how ????

best place for tvs …online is john lewis
free 5 year warranty with any tv ….

we bought one 2 years ago for my boys room 32inch flat screen etc , at the time £60.00 cheaper that comet currys , came with free delivery..

just had it replaced as it broke down and to expensive to repair …so they supplied a new one with another 5 years warranty and gave us £130.00 back as they reckoned that new one wasnt same spec as the one we bought 2 years ago..

i dont think you can get much better than that… we have since bought another 2 tvs from them..

ohhh yeh dhl … make sure you are registered with them as a buisness, cos if you dont they think you are joe bloggs and send the morons..
i think they have a system that knows your add is residential .. so if you work from home make sure they know add is buisness…

    Re: FLOOR DISCLAIMER

yeh tend to agree with all comments ,
we are currently involved in high volumes of american f/f removal for a large korean co , and as a result we are coming across lots of potential floor issues .. most customer are great and some will also have f/f removed but we have had a few where we have walked away due to nice hardwood floors…etc.

i thought we could have something in place like a disclaimer that goes something like …. although our engineer will take all reasonable precautions whilst removing your appliance their may be a chance of damage to flooring due to
1 debris/grit trapped under the rear wheels etc
2 the phyiscal size and weight of appliance
3 can think of something just now …

what im trying to say is that surley if you take all reasonable precaution and customer has agreed to you removing appliance then surley if matter goes to court etc you can at least demonstrate that all reasonable methods were used to prevent damage ..
