    Re: Samsung F/F RS20CCSN

dont think the rs 20 has evaporator in fridge..
it all comes from freezer side,
if so check defo heater etc @ frz evap..

this fault seems to be inherent with the rs20 models…
cold air blown into fridge >>>>warm air back from fridge via tunnel,
return tunnel condensates and eventually will block up with ice, thus stopping air flow ..

doesnt seem to be a cure for this, as the appliance is doing what its told to do..i guess samsung forgot about what to do with the warm air coming back from fridge???

i think comet has woke up and smelt the coffee, they are matching bg wages to attract engineers from bg.

    mind you………..
i think most bg engineers would probably take a wage cut to get away from the shananagins thats going on their just now.

just been speaking to a mate whos still with bg, he looking to get out soon,

i would just tell him that this new fault has no relation to previous work,
quote him for parts at cost , but charge full labour, and tell him thats as fair as you can be…

    ….if he doesn’t like….

well lets not go their…ultimately you want to retain customers but if hes a funny burger who wants to argue and hassle over payment…quite frankly you just dont need his kind of custom..

after all your in buis to make money..not to run around pushy customers

    washdoctor, p45 on its way…lol

if it is the case that its a disciplinary if caught using this site i dont think it would stand up in court..

but i wouldnt put it past some of the managers @ BG to do this, after all it would create another position or three for some of the has-beens who should of been shown the door a long time ago..

ukw disciplinary procedures and enforcement manager.
    “” “”” “” “” deputy manager
    “” “” “” “” deputy manager assistant

in fact i think i will apply for before you guys do…

Re: British Gas To Drop Appliance Servicing?

    hi k
your probably correct with regards to keeping dialog open with corporate organizations,

i still think we are effectively helping brit gas to muscle in on the indies market place by giving access to the tech info. i wouldnt mind giving access to other parts of ukw, but the tech side should really be available to the independents.
i know bg have most likely downloaded all the tech info and much of it they will already know about via engineers from various manufacturers that they have on their pay-roll,

but i dont think we should make it easy for them to compete on whats already an uneven playing field,

i dont think the information would likely to be so forth-coming in the other direction..

Re: British Gas To Drop Appliance Servicing?

i would exclude them from tech forum,
as they are a main competitor to small independents, who dont want to contribute to the small independent industry, in fact i think they would rather we not be here,

so why give a major competitor access to info ??
