it is amazing how attached to our smarts phones tablets etc , 1st thing you look at in morn and last thing at night .
im all for tech but somehow i get the feeling that we are relying on it way to much.
im the dinosaur in my family even with galaxy note and mini ipad , apparently and according to the kids i dont have the correct apps etc.
they boys get a the footy news long before i do – is there nothing sacred anymore .
we are in a instant info zone now . where will it all lead
i mean what next checking your washing machine status when your at your work

we use paypal , all you do do is log in and send invoice over to landlords email – they click link takes them to paypal where they pay online securely ..
so you dont need anything tbh – appart for paypal account

i think in a case of fatality etc it would be what a jury would think .
does 20 days training make someone competent – i wouldnt like to take the chance on these stats
you could argue the case that the engineer has 10years plus in engineering if thats the case ie was a car mech etc i think anyone would be able to accept this type of person would be competent .
on the other hand a 17-18 year old wet behind the ears no social or mechanical experience or knowledge i think you would be on thin ice .

yeh but ones for the turkey and the other for steak pie.
my good lady decided to cook steak pie in the top oven this year and proceeded to burn the top of it .
all she had in bottom fan oven was roast veg ..
i was way to pishhed to console or try and fix anything – so i found a quiet spot and drank some more ..he he

i called the guy when i was half a mile away – he says call me when your at the gate i will open , i says why not just open them just now im only 1 minute away. and i cant see to many peasants wondering around
gates werent that great as they didnt open automatically when you drive out these ones had to be manually opened with a remote –
so yesterday i muttered .all the new ones are done by mobile phone apps but i didnt want to get into with them.
ps the house was stunning old country mansion , so 10 out 10 for house

its funny because some people you dont mind have a bit of a chit chat ect , and when they say to you i hope you dont mind me watching and say yeh no probs …
then others who just annoy the shi”””t out of you as soon as you step in their house – i think its a chemistry thing. kinda like when you take an instant dislike to someone ?.
ive had my fair share of nosey busy bodys and usualy turn them in to helpers , they soon get the hint when i strategicaly place a row of stanley blades and varios sharp tools in a semi circle around my space.
but the 2 the other day were pushing all the buttons ..

well ive been meaning to do this for years and i dont know if it was because i was feeling like shhtt yesterday with the cold …but
i finally snapped … i had 2 watchers mother/daughter combo both with folded arms watching me fit a new oven and grill seal to the worst cooker ever – park cowan where you need to feed the seal into the cavity …..ahhhhh,
they were not the politest of people possibly due to the fact that we wouldnt roll over and give them a specific time , so the call had been rescheduled various times .
after about 10 minutes of them burning a hole in the back of my head i had to ask them if they could stop hovering over the top of me ..i kinda copped out by saying i have really bad cold and they will catch it .
they duly stomped off into the next room – muttering something about me – i cant imagine what it would be
what i wanted to do was to stand up and smack em – tell them go take a flying …f to them selves – have they nothing better in their lives but to annoy me.
is it just me getting old and crabit , was because i have the cold and everything has felt like climbing Everest.
or was it after years of these idiot customers who have no clue how to treat a great engineer ( me ) lol i finally snapped .
all i can say is it felt great. – does this mean any future watchers will get both barbells – who knows.

for me i think customers are more savy now , why would they book via a national call center if they can pick up the phone a call a local company ,
as i see it the only calls that filter down via national call centers are
high end range cookers , built dishwashers are crap that no one want to touch ,appart from these savy customers most try their local guys .
