reed switch and soldering iron a lot cheaper .usually it is just bad contact but you will have to replace reed switch now obviously.

ParticipantRe: Neff S4453N0GB/13 no water going in
there should be a 2 core black wire from the aquastop into machine follow this and there should be a connector where it finishes.disconnect it and check resistance.unplug first of course!

ParticipantRe: Neff S4453N0GB/13 no water going in

gurgling is the pump at start of cycle.this is normal.next it should start taking in the water. is there an aquastop on that d/w this would be where you screw on to the water mains ?if not it may be time for an engineer there should be loads to choose from in Kildare .not sure what neff themselves charge but might be best bet as the part may be still under warranty.
good luck and let us know how you get on.
just looked at valve and it is an aqua stop.it might be worth a punt and replace this .Galway
ParticipantRe: Neff S4453N0GB/13 no water going in
could well be but may be worth another look if he is not used to these m/c he may be missing something .it is usually some other comonent that is failing.
when you knock m/c on does it pump out first.
check all filters /hoses to sump
