    Re: another joke.

One day, when a seamstress was sewing while sitting close to a river, her
thimble fell into the river. When she cried out, the Lord appeared and
asked, “My dear child, why are you crying?”

The seamstress replied that her thimble had fallen into the water and that she needed it to help her husband in making a living for their family.

The Lord dipped His hand into the water and pulled up a golden thimble set with pearls. “Is this your thimble?” the Lord asked.

    The seamstress replied, “No.”

The Lord again dipped his hand into the river. He held out a silver thimble ringed with sapphires. “Is this your thimble?” the Lord asked.

    Again, the seamstress replied, “No.”

The Lord reached down again and came up with a leather thimble. “Is this your thimble?” the Lord asked.

    The seamstress replied, “Yes.”

The Lord was pleased with the woman’s honesty and gave her all three
thimbles to keep and the seamstress went home happy.

Some years later, the seamstress was walking with her husband along the river bank and her husband fell into the river and disappeared under the
water. When she cried out, the Lord again appeared and asked her, “Why are you crying?”

“Oh Lord, my husband has fallen into the river!”

The Lord went down into the water and came up with Mel Gibson.

“Is this your husband?” the Lord asked.

    “Yes-Oh yes!,” cried the seamstress.

The Lord was furious. “You lied! That is not true!”

The seamstress replied, “Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It is a
misunderstanding. You see, if I had said ‘no’ to Mel Gibson, you would have come up with Tom Cruise. Then if I said ‘no’ to him, you would have
come up with my husband. Had I then said ‘yes,’ you would have given me all three.

Lord, I’m not in the best of health and would not be able to take care of all three husbands, so that is why I said ‘yes’ to Mel Gibson.”

And so the Lord let her keep him.

The moral of this story is:

Whenever a woman lies, it’s for a good and honorable reason and in the best interest of others.

    Re: rangemaster oven not working

Probably circular element around the fan. Not too bad to chnage can be done from front with care, just the holes to allow the connections of element through tend to be on the small size and generally pull the spade connectors off.
If this happens you will have to re connect by removing rear range locating wires and attaching to corrrect location on element.

Poss model SGS5312GB/07/12/13 as your model doesnt exist.

More than likely if it is that model it is our old favourite burnt track on heater relay in fascia pcb.
This is solderable if you are confident, failing that you will need to replace the full pcb. P/no 264877 – £83.00 GBP from Bosch but check spares@ first.

under normal operation, the bottom will get hot due to the cavity getting hot but it NEVER puts the lower element on in fan assist mode.

A model would be hepful jimbo as there are many variants.

If your appliance has an “auto” setting and you are not cleaning the plates off before you load; making the water very murky then the turbidity system will adjust the wash accordingly, although 3 hours does seem excessive.

    Re: NEFF B1451N0GB/01

Probably greasey fumes have gone into fan assist motor. A common occurance with fan ovens Im afraid.
Floor of cavity will be cold in fan assist cooking mode as it does not use the element in the base.

Fan oven motor unit is p/no 096825 – £62.00 GBP from Neff but try shop@ and always switch off before attempting any repair :plug:

Seriously though – I knew it could,nt really be a Bosch as Ken said something about spares being “reasonably priced”……….

    Andy

I find bosch spares reasonably priced in comparison to Miele and some lesser makes.

Mrs Awkward that insists someone calls after she returns from work at 6:30pm.
