Re: Cooker oven thermostat – Stoves 800DF STAY AWAY !!

Did one myself earlier this year and it was a kit of 2 thermostats, 2 selectors and wiring plus knobs.

It does take about hour and worth spending a bit of time reading the instructions before you go.

The original thermostats are not available.

    Hi

yes they are all about £10/11 pounds plus vat plus delivery but the diamond is only about £6/7 if there is a suitable replacement.

Customers seem to wait until there are 3/4 gone before calling and that gives them a heafty bill.

Just hoping that someone have been down this avenue before

    Hi

When the oven flame lights the flame itself earths the electrode stopping it sparking.
I would suggest that you check that the metal end of the electrode is in the flame when it is on full flame and when the flame dies down. Use a pair of pliers to adjsut bracket
Do not crack/damage the surround to the electrode as this will make it useless

Re: LEISURE COOKMASTER CM101 NO SPARK

Basic circuit would be power from timer relay to microswitch on thermostat to ignition unit.
Normally when you turn the thermostat it operates a microswitch which is located on the shaft of the thermostat. this allows power from the timer to reach the ignition unit and gas valve ( if fitted)
Check clock not on auto and there is power from it would be the fitrst thing to do

    Hope this helps

Surprising how things change when you get there.

Unit does start and fills with water. But wait a minute the motor ramps up into spin instead of tumble.

Wiring rubbed on weight and the taco wiring worn through.

    Repaired and away it went.

    hi

from the conversation I had with the lady nothing happens.

Perhaps it is going to be the old door lock or motor brushes problem??
