ParticipantRe: Hotpoint DI450 Module
Hi Iadom,
Thanks for that. It’s not C00143214 as I had one of these and tried it. Is it possible you can give me part numbers for the other two? I will go back and check serial number.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply Martin.
Wash pump rotor turns easily and starts turning as soon as powered up. Hence assume capacitor ok. Can hear from lack of noise and see with side panel off that pump doesn’t reach full speed, thus not activating heater and very weak wash action.
Must admit haven’t tried replacement capacitor. Do you think I should?
Thanks

On deeper inspection everything pointed to selector switch. As none in stock at connections, decided to dismantle switch. Cleaned and reassembled, refitted and turned on hey presto! it worked 😀
Thanks gents once more for your assistance

Door seals ok , light goes off . This hasn’t got exposed evaporator the stat capillary goes down a tube within the insulation and goes in fairly easily to the same depth as original . Any more suggestions please .

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS53C02GB/08 Fault
Hi Graham
Not totally conversant with this machine, but have had a similar problem with some Bosch dishwashers where the transfer pipe that goes across the front of the machine from water inlet tank on l/h side to machine sump is blocked. And float switch detects an overfill situation and brings the pump on.
Good luck
Geoff

ParticipantRe: Beko WMA1715S Pre wash light flashes
Thanks Gentlemen,
Your expert help worked. Flashing pre wash light does mean the child lock is on. Customer obviously unknowingly set it whilst trying to clear fault lights. You have saved another Beko machine from the scrap heap.
Thanks again, what an excellent site this is!

ParticipantRe: Hoover HP13-80 help
Sorry for delay in reply, customer on holiday. Thanks for replies, sadly the pump was ok. Must require PCB as advised. This is a special order from Connect, customer not prepared to wait any longer. Purchased new machine from us needless to say not a Hoover! Hoovers loss.
Thanks again
