There is a search facility 8) Above where it says ‘all pages’ and under where it says ‘UK Whitegoods: Forums’
It sounds like you might need a new heater to me, rather than a thermostat.
Use one of our engineers to do the job, or if you want a heater, email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk, and say ‘Goatboy says it’s the double loop element.”
But make sure you unplug the machine if your gonna have a look yourself 😛

Very unlikely!
Do you do maintainance washes? If not, the pressure system might be a litle gunked up 😕
Do you know the hardness of your water?

Maybe your condensor is blocked? Maybe just your filter is blocked?
Use Repairs@ for an engineer to find out 😉
The condensor is the big plastic unit that’s in the back right-hand corner of the machine (looking from the front).
Power off first, of course!

ParticipantRe: WHITE KNIGHT WK447 WIRING HELP PLEASE
First off all, have you got the machine isolated from the power source?
And secondly, have you tried Repairs@?

ParticipantRe: Washing Machine struggling to spin
Sorry, I should of made myself a bit more clearer.
I’m 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that you need an armature to repair that motor. Some of the armatuers are obsolete. If you email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with your model number, they can provide an armature if it’s available, or a motor if it’s not.
Or you can always use Repairs@ if you don’t fancy changing the armature/motor yourself. And if your having a look yourself, unplug the appliance first!

I tent to book in 4/5 jobs for the morning, and 4/5 in the afternoon. But this can sometimes turn into 7/8 jobs because of the ‘well-you’re-just-up-the-road-from-this-job’ syndrome. Unless I know that a job will take a long time (Bosch D/W heater) then I will allow extra time.
And any job that I predict is a BER, doesn’t get a slot. It’s classed as a five minute condemnation job, which includes the time taken to try and sell a new machine.

Paulusfirst wrote:…it’s a ‘w’ shaped thing…
Errr… Don’t know what that is!
It’s taking a week for this water to appear? A lot of water?
Basically the water is either coming down the drain from the sink, or one of the valves on the machine isn’t shut properly, and a tiny amount of water is getting through.
You can eliminate the valves, by turning off the taps on the fill pipes and seeing if it’s still fills. But, do you have towait a week to check that?
The best option is check Repairs@ and see if there’s a local engineer to help you out 😉
If your going to check the valves, please unplug the machine before routing!

This sounds like the problem 😕
Water entering the machine from the sink, via the sink trap. Does the washing machine drain into a sink trap?

I’ve got an idea! How about everyone is nice to Goatboy, and nobody plays any tricks on him 😀
Besides that, maybe someone could bring an industrial razor, and we’ll pin down Jeff (aka Roly) and shave him legs, if his wearing those shots again?

He says he’s going to wear a shirt + tie, and that it should be formal dress. 🙄
I said, it’s going to be full of hairy-arsed engineers, half of which will still be in their work gear, but he won’t believe me.
Can someone post here, and tell him how ‘formal’ these meetings are, please?
