Oops, I didn’t know this post was here. 😳 I didn’t know there was a threat, until I when for a chinese take-away last night, and was reading the Daily ‘we’re-all-going-to-die’ Mail. They gave me the food, and I stood there for two minutes to finish the article 🙂
WMF’s? I didn’t know they were still around! And people still use IE you say? Hmmmm! Luckily for me, my PC mentor was even more parinoid that iadom. My advice, if anyone cares, is the obvious! Don’t go surfing for afew weeks (especially porn), stick to the sites that you know and trust, no opening emails from unknown sources, and if your not using Mozilla stuff, then do!
I’d highly recommend Mozilla Firefox to everyone, and Mozilla Thunderbird (email client) is great too! It blocks all pictures in emails, then you can just load up any that you need.

Maybe the front bearing is about to collaspe again? 😯
Has the machine started getting noisy on spin again?
If it’s not the baffles, a foriegn body, overlaoding, or another broken drum, then it must be some kind of evil clothes pixie.
If your ever driving though Burnley, drop it in, and I’ll have a look 😉

Can I dissuade you from fixing I yourself?
Even when unplugged, a microwave’s capacitor holds upto 3000 volts! :zap:
If you ring around some local domestic appliance repairers, I’m sure you’ll find one that fixes microwaves.

I’d check that! You could blow down the pressure pipe from the switch end. That will tell you if the chamber is blocked (unless there’s a hole in the pipe)
Unplug the machine first, of course!

You could try washing less? If the clothes don’t have enough space, that could cause the problem.
Or, it could be a phantom bra wire. Ever hear a scraping noise when the drum turns?

ParticipantRe: Bosch WAA24160GB Washing Machine any good?

Hopefully you’ll know by Easter 8) Or you could read the frontpage 😉
You really don’t want to be sending less than £350, if you want a good machine. You won’t get a German Bosch for that price 🙁 Sell your PC, and get a good one 😆 Or get more saving-up time by using the local river and a big stick.
But seriously, if you have to go cheap, I’d go for the WFO2067.

Did you take the machine with you, or was it already there?
Is the cold water turned on, and reaching the machine?

I can’t re-take sorry, coz it was in a customers house, but I’ll resize it for you, and you can decide if it’s worth putting it there.

ParticipantRe: Bosch WAA24160GB Washing Machine any good?
That machine is cheap becauser it has the smaller capactity drum.
It’s 4.5kg, when most of the other Bosch are 6kg.
Besides that… 😕
I’d wait ’till February and buy an ISE 😉
Remember, you get what you pay for. There’s no such thing as cheap + cheerfull, the phrase is cheap + nasty!
