I like it! π
I think it sounds better as the I.S.E rather that the Ise (Ice).
Or the Isey, Mr P!

Exactly! Strip in down first, then see what spares you need.
Access, throught the front of the machine.
Be Carefull!

I hope you know what you’ve let yourself in for.
Prepare to loose blood, sweat and tears.
I’d check the heater for damage. I rarely do that job, and don’t replace the heater.
Protect your hands and eyes, with gloves and goggles!
And unplug the machine before attemping a repair.

ParticipantRe: CRAZY
It seems to have gotten busier for us, ever since the TV told people, ‘there’s gotta be a slow down in the econimy!’ (spelling π³ )
Ever since then, we’ve been doing more big jobs, drum/bearing changes, selling motors and re-con machines π
People listen to that cr@p on TV! π

Ensure that the main selector switch is in the Off or O position.
Press and hold the Super Rinse and Rinse Hold buttons whilst selecting H on the selector knob, and continue to hold for five seconds.
The ‘Super Rinse’, ‘Rinse Hold’ and ‘Wash’ LED’s will now be flashing.
Press the Start/Cancel button for two seconds.
The ‘Rinse Hold’ LED will be lit and the ‘Super Rinse’ LED will be flashing.
The ‘Final Spin’ LED could be on or off at this stage.Press the Rinse Hold button briefly.
The ‘Rinse Hold’ LED will be flashing & the ‘Super Rinse’ LED will be on steady to indicate the last error routine has been initiated.
Rotate the main programme selector knob slowly anti-clockwise to programme A
Slowly rotate the selector switch clockwise through four positions A to D inclusive, pausing briefly at each programme position. Starting with A make a note of the ‘Final Spin’ LED status. it will be on or off.
When the selector knob reaches D you will have a series of Ons and Offs . This 4 bit binary code should be recorded and checked against the error codes in the following table.
……………………………………………………..A………..B………….C………..D
No spin due to O.O.B……………………….on………off………..off………off
Start butt pressed with door open…….off……….on…………off……..off
or O/C interlock.Failure to fill in allotted time……………..on……….on……….off……….off
Failure to pump out in time allowed……off………off………on……….off
No feedback from thermistor when……off………on……….on………off
heating.Tacho error…………………………………….on……..on……….on………..off
No feedback from tacho…………………..off……….off………off……….on
Motor O/CMotor triac short circuit…………………….on……….off……….off……….on
That was a bit of a pain to get lined up but I hope someone may find it useful. π
I’ve found this info very useful.
Thank you Iadom

My speciality! π and probably why Martin is going on holiday for the next meeting. So I don’t sit next to him again. π
Anyhoo, I was thinking about this forum at a job today. The boss (old git) had been to Bosch, late last week, which needed a new timer knob. He took the facia off and brough the knob back to HQ. We ordered the spare, and I went back to it today.
When I started re-assembling the thing, I notice he’s managed to snap the on/off button, and the tabs on the soapbox to hold on the front! π‘
I had to leave the machine looking like this…

I’ve found a soapbox for the customer but I aint got a button π
It’s suppose to be, I make the mistakes, and he clears up after me! Maybe these new-fangled machines that clip together are to much for him, and his aged brain?
