My car mechanic friend got caught out with that one as a newbie.
He got sent around six different car garages on an industrial estate. Each of them gave him a long stand, then told him to ask at the next garage. Class!

The boss here is 55, and he gave up playing squash (nice1 RS 😆 ) about 10 years ago. Saying that, he’s a healthy old git. He’s always up at the crack of dawn, doing stretches and exercises.
When he does play squash (very rarely) he kicks the snot out of my 31 year old brother 😀

K, my thought is, let the pot grow. Then there’s always some cash for if it hit the fan.
Just a thought on getting more subscribers…
I’d move the subscribers forum to the top of the forums page. It isn’t noticable enough near the bottom.
Then when there’s a flurry of activity, unsubscribed people will get curious when they see the orange ‘new post’ symbol.
That’s what I’m like with the mod forum…

Owww! I just read this thread from the start.
On the original question, I’d say keep the subs fund.
It’s a good way for someone to ‘donate’, a way of saying ‘thank you’ in my case. Like Alex, said, it’s not like we’re going to miss the £60 and wonder what we’re getting for it.

He’s up at six to do the newspapers etc So I wonder in, early afternoon (Saturday and Sunday) and say “Are we kicking your a****?”
And two days in a row, he’s frowned and said “Yes.”

Ahhhh university!
I didn’t go, but my mate did. Do you remember those old waste paper bins that used to be in schools? They’re made of metal, and weighed a ton!
Anyhoo, the student accomedation was full of them, one in every room. When everyone was drunk, we’d leave the doors everywhere slightly ajar, and balance those bins on top of the doors. Sometimes put the ‘yellow pages’ in there for abit more weight 😈
Then sit back quietly and listen for…

It was funny until you got one in the head yourself 😕
And my other favourite is waiting for ‘lightweights’ to pass out, then shaving off an eyebrow. Not both, just one! So if they want to look symetrical, they have got to shave the other one off themselves!

I’m a little embassared myself to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Ken, Dave, Martin and Chris; whose contributions often go above and beyond the call of duty. ‘What call?’ I hear you ask. Exactly!
I’ll especially have great admiration for those that have the cojornes to answer all the publics stupid questions, all times of day and night. Noticably Ken, Dave, Martin, Chris, Iadom, Nwar, and Gegsy…. there’s so many! In fact anyone that has posted in the public forums just once, derserves a pat on the back.
And I notice the hit counter isn’t slowing down 😀
Nearly five and three quarter million! And by the time some people read this, it will be five and three quarter million 😯

We use TMS for some appliances. They used to do just spares, but they have moved into selling appliances in a big way! They’re always getting containers of graded Herloni muck, and they were putting out Indesits before at under a ton.
But they also sell Bosch/Siemens etc
