Silconed kick-plates! I’m seeing more and more of them all the time 😕

Customers that don’t have coffee are annoying too (yes, this did happen today).

And have you noticed how customers always have the same conversation starter when you answer the phone…

    “What it is, right…”

Damn! I wanted a monopoly in the Burnley area when all the old gits around here finally retire 😉

A few years back I did a course over at Preston uni. It’s a City and Guilds in…

“The repair and service of domestic appliances.”

All the washer stuff was out of date, but the refridgeration part was very helpful.

I had one today. 5p jammed behind the impellor 😕

A 1 cent euro coin is small enough to get into the drain hose!

Re: Bosch 1200 washing machine softener nightmare

It’s pretty easy to do the test procedure for the valves on a Bosch washer. This doesnt count on the ‘touch control’ machines.

Turn the washer off (12 o’clock). Hold down the two buttons further-most on the RHS. While holding the buttons, turn the selector one click anti, and wait.

After a few seconds, your into the test procedure, and two lights are lit on the face. You can let go of the buttons now 😉

Moving anti and pressing the start button will test different compoents. I dont know what all the different posistions are, but the bottom posistions (drain, spin, rinses, etc) test the values. First hot (even when there aint hot), then one cold, then the other cold, then both cold.

Turn selector off to exit test procedure.

I do loads of those round here, as we have v.soft water. Saying that, I’ve been told that the conditioner fires back up into the top of the drawer when the water comes down 😕

It’s that time of the year again for me now 🙁

And I don’t think £12 is that bad to cover your backside for another year.

That’s the price from… http://www.securitymetrics.com for 1 year cover (no website).

    Re: Connections – Price bands

I’m just trying to figure out some kind of pattern, to make sense of why some people get one price, and why some get another.

The pattern? “Tell me what you know about the pattern” 😯

    😆
