Thanks Guys for thr replies, This job was for a letting agent That I do some work for and I was just so pleased to pass it back to them with the phone number for RepairCare’ Got a feeling the landlord might scrap the machine and start again when he gets the price for an agent to call and replace the door boot. I did think of the Zan spring but this pile of dung’s tub front door seal lip was about 5mm deep. I could just get the seal on but as soon as you tried to get the Late Hotpoint type clamp on I just kept pulling off the seal from the other side Gerrrrrrrrr.

Any way the second half was quite entertaining. Peter Crouch 😮 I cant make him out I use to think he was the most ungainly player I have ever seen play But 5 goals in 2 games, Who needs Rooney 😮

Blimey, I own an appliance under 6 years old. Its not that I am tight or anything but in all my adult life I have only bought one new appliance, WP Fridge/Freezer 9 years ago and its still working. Not many perks in this game but the least we expect is a lifelong supply of free or very cheap appliances

Good deal though, I Fixed his Diplomat/Smeg intergrated D/W
(Removed the non return valve) gave him £5.00 and walked away
with his Bosch

Called back to job today took about 2 hrs, But had to go and buy a new MTB as the very cheap and nasty one fitted had burnt out. Not as bad as I thought but would’t want to do 2 in a day.

Big Thanks for all the positive replies. Over quoted job to allow for extra time needed to carry out repair, Will call early and turn the mobile off and tell cust to keep dogs & kids out of the kitchen. Robinsonrobbo your are right about customer perception, Because she paid over a grand for the cooker she bit my hand of when i quoted the price (£125.00).

This is very strange. Do a search for a Hoover WDM 120 on Masterpart search for hinge, comes up as 91700103 special order. Another disadvantage of Connect not giving out part numbers. Used to be able to cross referance, but now only get the bar code. Wonder Why?
