    Re: Handepay Merchant Services

Hi, we have been signed up with handepay for over a year now on a mobile terminal, i have been very happy with it, no problems & good support. Costs for us with terminal rental & transaction fees are roughly about £50 a month, its cheaper for a static terminal though.

    Re: have trading post gone?

Hi found this off one of the review sites about trading post

    They’ve gone bust apparently.

My parents paid £3000 for a range cooker, delivery was overdue by a fortnight and now every single phone line is dead. Rang up rangemaster and they confirmed that as far as they are concerned they are out of business.

Luckily rangemaster have agreed to do business (for our range again) so we’ve got it and will have to claim the original back from the credit card company.

Be aware as the website is still operational and takes payments!!! …

Re: Best make of van for the job (all rounder)

I last year was having problems finding a perfect size van for the varied things i do, basically i never found one !. In the end i got a SWB diesel transit for new appliance deliverys / repais & aerial jobs, and an lpg combo for smaller appliance repairs & visiting rural areas where the transit is too large & clumsy. Basically i cant fault the transit after owning it for a year, its reliable ,fairly cheap to run & insure.

    Re: S’now joke

We have not had much snow down here, main problem has been ice on the minor roads its been very dangerous, i found that out yesterday while trying to reach a customer on the edge of Dartmoor. I skidded off the road and hit a crash barrier. It was never worth going out lesson learnt 😯 . We also have had not many spare parts turn up this week, most customers here are not very understanding, suppose they cant see any snow out the window and wonder what all the fuss is !. Guess they dont watch the news then.

    Re: Amica problems AWCT12L

Thank you ken, that has cleared up a few things for us with Amica, i did register to be an agent so i will just wait to hear back, cust did say on one of the machines that the engineer was from glen dimplex and did not want to spend any time on the machine, it was basically left in bits in the customers house. 😯
