ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Oven Timer BD32k
The only other number he read from the label was 2554841200000.
Don’t know if this is the commercial no or not?grooster
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Oven Timer BD32k
Cheers for that, sorry to sound so dumb, never needed this before, but is this commercial number to be found on the identification sticker. It’s just I’m going to be talking this through with a customer over the phone, 60 mins round trip to this job and would really be able to take the part with me first time.
Thanksgrooster

Cheers for your help. Where would I find the commercial number or is the commercial code just the full model no.
Customer read me everything off the label, he did give me another long number as we’ll could this be it, do you have an example? He did just say it was bd32k but I would have to make sure there was nothing after it.Thanks again

ParticipantRe: are things really that bad?
I’m just a one man band and i’ve been doing 8/9 a day, 6 days a week since Xmas. Had my first slow week last week (usually week before payday if its going to be quiet), but this week has been mad busy, booking 3 days in advance. Long may it continue.
From memory though, March/April is usually my quieter period if i’m going to have a bit of a lull.March 11, 2014 at 10:19 pm in reply to: Has anybody got any info on Indesit IDCE845A Condenser dryer #410932grooster

That explains everything. Joy oh joy. No more heater or stat changes then. Looks more like a glorified dehumidifier. Lets hope this doesn’t catch on but if its nearly 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} more efficient than the traditional system, I can see this being on most machines in the next 5 years.

Sorry I meant resistor, just a mistake.
Doesn’t matter anyway, I swapped the complete control panelgrooster
ParticipantRe: Whirlpool W/M AWO/O 0 5526 Dead
Update –
I went out today armed with the appropriate control board (had a look for a faulty cap on the board while I was at it) and it didn’t make any difference. Live and neutral going to it but still no display. Its got to be the display board. What a pain!grooster
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Belt Fitting Tool
Never had a problem using an extra long screwdriver. Stretch the belt down, anchoring the head of the driver under the motor pulley and stretching onto the shaft of the motor that way. Works better with a little WD40 on the length of the screwdriver. Takes 10 seconds.

ParticipantRe: A return of the BAD old days
Fitted a genuine Beko fan element yesterday. Got a call 2 hours later to say it had gone bang. So its not just the pattern stuff that failing. I have had major problems with Whirlpool and Bosch pattern elements over the past year though.

Thanks for the info Jag.
The problem I have is that the lady is a strange character, you know the type, and won’t be happy if I don’t repair it the next visit. I would rather go armed with a new one in cast the capacitor swap doesn’t work.Does anybody know if the control module comes programmed or not. Searching on connect it show 3 different versions for this machine, but no mention of whether its programmed or not. Looking at Qualtex they just list the one, out of stock, but programmed.
If anybody has the correct part number for a programmed one, it would really be appreciated.
Thanks as usual guys.

ParticipantRe: Electrolux ESL6114 Dishwasher leaking
In all my time, i’ve never come across this version of 6114 Electrolux dishwasher with this type of pressure system. Its usually the big version on the left hand side. It sounds as though theres probably a bit of grease floating around to not leak every time. I just dont understand why the overfill pressure switch doesnt activate.
PM sent Colin many thanks. I would really appreciate some info on this machine.

ParticipantRe: Electrolux ESL6114 Dishwasher leaking
Sorry for taking so long to get back with a reply, the neighbours been away since xmas and all has been well ever since, until today.
I finally saw it when it was leaking. It has overfilled. The water was up to the door seal. The strange thing is why it hadn’t put water down the overfill red bleeder tube.I emptied it and tried it again and it filled to the perfect level.
Is this machine the usual version with the air chamber down the left hand side that comes with the water valve. I’ve swapped loads of these in the past for filling faults.
