Re: Diplomat dishwasher – ACA9102 – Not programming

No, i checked the base for leaks and it was bone dry. First thing i always check with these machines, with the over soaping problem and the centre shaft unscrewing itself, I even meggered the machine and it showed up as acceptable.

Yeah, having the same problem here. Entered my email address and password into the new website and it wont let me in. Really annoying as I need to price a few parts with them.

    Re: work car or van

I currently run a Citroen Nemo van. Cheap as chips. Managed to get it brand new 3 years ago for £6000 plus Vat. I manage about 55mpg. Its says it should do 65mpg.
I’ve done about 80k (1.4 diesel) in it already and i’m thinking about changing at the moment before I get any unwanted repair bills and this topic is very apt for me.

I always used to use a Focus estate for my 2 previous vehicles and they were great and I’m thinking that maybe I want to have a little bit more luxury than the van again. I’ve been looking at either a Mondeo estate or a Citroen C5 estate. Both are a great size and much bigger load space inside than my nemo.

Thought as much, what a waste of time for such an easy, replaceable part. Never mind, just told my customer and I nearly heard her phone drop to the floor when I told her how much.
    Thanks

    Re: Hotpoint BFI620 Door seal

Thanks for all your input guys.
The door I was sent was boxed and the door inside was shrink wrapped. So it hadnt been opened. I think it must have had the wrong part number on the box, or like you say somebody has sent the door back and put it in the wrong box. I have reordered it today, but it looks like a couple of weeks wait for it. Just seems strange how I managed to get the last one they had and it was wrong.

    Re: Hotpoint BFI620 Door seal

Then God knows why Connect have sent me one minus a seal. Looks like i’m going to have to spend half an hour of my day on the phone to them tomorrow. The problem is i’ve just had another look on connect and the part is now out of stock, if I want to re-order and risk getting the same wrong item again.

    Re: Dead Simple bookeeping software?

I use Do$h Cashbook by Mamut Software. This is the programme my accountants told me to use some 10 or so years ago. Simple to use and quite cheap in comparison to some out there. I simply send a cd backup of my accounts at year end and they work out all the rest. I’m pretty sure they do a trial version that you can have a play with.
