its been noted about these machines doing that before

the selector is faulty, and is part of the board

it may well function correctly, but you have NO IDEA what programme it is actually on.. it could be boiling your clothes

    the pcb needs replacing

    suzana

im not sure its because your a woman

the simple fact remains… it can be hazardous
even though its a public forum, safety has to be paramount, which is why we always advise removing the plug

martins comment is one of a few recently, all directed at me in a reasonably structured manner

    anyway

    1. plug out
    2. the pcb is mounted at the rear of the machine, at the bottom
    3. its behind the panel at the back of the machine, to the left, secured with 3 screws
    4. its fiddly to take out, but it is, as i have said worth checking the connections to make sure theyre sound
    5. please , and this isnt aimed at anyone in particular, try and see things from our point of view – it wouldnt be nice if you mabaged to severley injure yourself (or worse ) through advice freely given.. thats why sometimes its advised to be very careful when attempting a repair

please, leave it 20 minutes when u unplug it, and be methodical.. note where wires go, maybe take a picture , and, of course BE CAREFUL

i hope this helps you in some way
