its f04 … pressure switch stuck on empty

that could be the pressure switch itself, or maybe a hole in the tube leading from the pressure bottle to the switch

or of course, the dreaded pcb problem!

    plug out if your checking!

    Thermal Spin
A thermal spin on the High Heat setting is carried at the start of the of the drying process. The load is
pre-heated to approximately 50°C by the dryer heater with normal tumble action and pump out. The
thermistor located in the wash heater will sense the load temperature and when 50°C is achieved a 5
minute Spin profile will be carried out at full spin speed.
During thermal spin the out of Balance detection will operate and maximum speed will only be
achieved depending on the out of balance condition.
On completion of the Thermal Spin, the tumble drying process will commence for the period of time
    selected.
Thermal spin is NOT available when low heat is selected.

thats from the manual.. but still it doesnt say why

    hmm

    it the responsible person thing

if your a trader, and your charging, then yes, as soon as you do ANY work to it, you become the responsible person

martins right, its the same reason they put bayonet hoses on cookers, so the consumer can remove and clean, and refit

this has been discussed to death before, and if anyone wants to do their own gas repair, theres nothing on gods good earth that can stop them

it is litteraly when your being paid for doing the work

theres a cut out…. just at the back near the heater… thats the usual suspect
    its screws int the cabinet
a simple continuity test will prove its function
