ParticipantIt would be best with that machine to go into diagnostics… it could, literally be anything, from worn brushes, to an overheating circulation pump, non-congruency between pressure switch and analogic switch, to a pcb fault itself.
Sorry to be so vague, but other than checking the pump filter and/or carbon brushes, it could literally, be any one of about 8 problems.

Participantif it has to be a washer dryer, zanussi are probably the pick of an average bunch… bosch washer dryers tend to be pricey

pah..useless, outdated

Participantnot if its under 5yrs old
indesit offer fixed price repairs for £99, that includes all the parts required to fettle the machine
i hate indesit, in effect, your paying for the machine again, and theyll hassle you to death to take out a warranty, then take a week or so to come out
up to you really
sorry to sound so negative, but look around the forum, see what trouble people are having with these machines
your not unique

Participantits more likely a board problem to be honest
sensor(ntc) faults are usually picked up early on
if its burning, it could well have done the wiring in too
helo_75
Participanti would say so, the pcb is the main control board that u turn at the beginning
the price of the repair will probably end up being ridiculous as samsung spares are just silly money

Participantnew board im afraid

Participanteerm, just one thing (and im speaking from experience here)

Participanthttp://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … l+Kit.html
should be the bearing kit
and
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … +Seal.html
is the drum seal
not overly expensive
but like i say, its down to whether he wants to attempt ithelo_75
Participantit isnt impossibe
the unfortunate thing ( and youve got to understand this) is that we have no idea of his ability in this field
people have done it, with varying degrees of difficulty, it involves taking the drum out completely, splitting it, replacing the bearings, seals, etc
bit time consuming, and im sure an email to the online shop with the PNC number from the inside of the door will be able to avise you on the price and availibility of spares
