Participantif you look at the switch, with the wires facing up, its about four wires in from the front, on the left hand side

Participantahh.. conflicting reports there, personally, i dont change many pressure switches, but thats only my personal experience.. im sure others have
dont get confused , it could be the pressure switch, and its certainly a cheaper option to try than a pcb/eprom

Participantok, i was only thinking maybe the end of the the sink trap hadnt been cut off, thats quite common when ppl move into new houses
does the pump run at all?
i rarely change pressure switches
id be tempted to put the drain in a bucket first and put machine on an empty and see if the pump runs at all, and/or if water comes outif that doesnt work, and youve tested the pump with a meter to ensure it isnt faulty, then its either the pressure switch /pcb
the latter being more likely, and youll need an eprom too

Participanti got there first:P

f05 – pressure switch stuck on full, ur machines probably just not emptying!!now here goes… is it a new house? or maybe a new kitchen
is the drain pipe attatched to the drain under the sink?if so, try taking the drain hose of the spout and see if the ends been cut off
other than that, your pumps blocked
let us know how u get on?

Participantmaybe its just me, but why are people advising about taking the rear panel off when its blatantly obvious when you take the lid off how the valve fits?
the plastic bit? unscrew it, your making it look hard
helo_75
Participanti think youll probably find it may well be right
if the recirc pump is faulty, it wont fill to second level, the first fill is to test components, and when all components are working fine, it will prcoeed to fill to correct level
hope this helps

Participantand what about the float switch itself? ive had loads of them sticking!
just asking becuse you havent mentioned it?helo_75
Participantyes, its a recent thing
and the only hob i know with a thermocouple is the neff/siemens stuff
gonna kill a lot of sales that is, trust me
helo_75
Participantall gas ovens have a flame failure device.. its the law
honestly
its the hobs u can no longer install in flats without a flame failure device
helo_75
Participantits the ‘s’ shaped tube, below the evap cover, behind the salad baskets
helo_75
Participantyes, good call
