    ok, best thing to try

press and hold the night and day button, turn the machine on, hold for 8 seconds (every icon will be on), then let go and within 2 seconds, press start… the machine should start and do a test programme….

it should revert to normal 1 minute after its spin

    good luck

its worth checking the brushes in the motor

other than that its likely to pcb fault, and be ber for sure

Its more likely to be blocked full of fluff or the fans faultered/blocked/fell off and tripped the thermal fuse

u really need unplug it, strip the heater box and have a look tbh.. it may be repairable with no parts, but it might, need to look really

    hope this helps

The correct part was ordered actually as all the part numbers matched now if you have no help to give why dont you get off this thread and go annoy someone else!!!!!!!!

ok, you asked, youll get your answer,
the pcb you ordered is the right one, it just isnt programmed

the spraying of the switch works rather well, i do it daily

now you either pay for the right, programmed pcb, or you pay a hoover/candy engineer to programme the one you have

the advice is here, you just didnt take it

no brushes im afraid, its a 3 phase motor

i found many of those to have a loose/broken wire in the motor plug, however i found many more with pcb failure

check the motor connections, if theyre not broken, it will need a pcb, theres no inbetween im sorry

    we have a troll

at no points did i ‘kinda guess’ anything
nor was any of my post badly worded or punctuated

just like i didnt use offensive or nasty words

wont be long before this thread is locked, removed or you get a ban

    out the top mate

bearings are around 50p each and the seal around 20p

good luck though, its worth more to weigh it in, and a lot less hassle

    Re: BUSH WM-1260B AUTOMATIC WASHER

judging by the wording of your posts im guessing youre either poorly educated or your not from these here parts

im kinda guessing that you actually work for haier? im going to be quite frank here, im known for it, and im sure other traders will agree

bush/haier/swan/russell hobbs/matsui/hec/whatever they think of next

    are simply inferior products

the beauty of internet forums is that anyone, anywhere can post these kind of messages, theyre easy to post, and most probably, are made up to enhance the brands selling point

traders know, the fire brigade know, trading standards know

from poor, badly built motors, to naff pumps, pcbs that wont spin… wierd electrical faults and motors that spontaneously combust, the problems seem continuous

in fact the only saving grace is that when the motor sets on fire , it manages to melt the tub and it puts the fire out when it pours water out

great safetey feature i dont think

people need to get to grips with the fact that not only are they rubbish, theyre destroying our economy, taking peoples jobs and creating serious safety issues

if u really have had your machine 2 years, then good luck to you

and thats an end to that

they sent me a list of my so called holidays, and after checking them with my previous fuel returns, they where well out

so id like to thank comet for putting £154 in my bank account on the 25th, im glad you wasted money on bailiffs and letters, cost you a lot of money…

what a poorly run, awful company they are

just make sure its unplugged, take off the back, and its there , just above the motor,a bit to the right… its not a bad job as long as the nut is slackend and the seal is loosened off

    good luck
