    and the depth of feeling from the now redundant comet staff is aparant on facebook.. all this will leave a bitter taste in many mouths for a long time…. and all this one week before christmas

    theres just one word i use for opcapita, and i cant use it here, this site has people with morals , but i think you all know what the word is

    its more likeley the front ntc on the duct

    lid off
    bezel off
    screws top of panel, botom of panel, round door
    front panel pops off, its at the botton of the duct

    thats the usual suspect tbh

    i think youll find error 1 is a faulty door lock

    e8 is a motor fault

    spot on im afraid, there has to b an opening aperture (window or door to outside) it cant vent into another room, its dangerous….

    just a quick one

    has no one considered the knob might be broken?

    i mean, if the thermistor was faulty either way, there would be a fault code, amd if the relay was stuck on, same thing… but then , this is hotpoint isnt it

    one of the most common faults i see

    the plug needs cutting off, they burn for laughs, and yes u need a pcb, the pump triac will have blown its top

    faulty heater … no heat

    Checked all the wiring as well

    megger the heater then.. but id make sure the spin speed selector is set to full spin first

    my experience is that you will need to recrimp the terminals with good quality insulated connecters

    doesnt last long if the wiring has burnt
