    as with most machines today, if the machine wasnt heating, it would stick

    i must go to 4 a week where theres nothing wrong

    yes, its adviseable to change the top half, unless you buy the felt seal between the box and the drum… and they do need it, hotpoint placed the main pcb directly under there

    its a digital switch/potentiometer

    the main plug is just power, the smaller idc cable is the one used for selections .. different resistance=different program

    pull your old one apart and youll see what i mean

    ok e20, officially is pump failure

    early washer dryers had a toc in the pump, and were notorious for getting hot, and cutting out when running without water

    as for the condenser, theyre always worth taking off and cleaning

    top off, 2 screws either side of top of rear half of cabinet, 1 attatching cabinet to dryer fan… two screws under the white caps, at the bottom middle of the cabinet, sometimes thers some in the rear of the back.
    all 8mm screws

    detatch the valve cover from the back, and it should lift out

    take condenser off and clean

    plug out, and be careful in there
