Participantlight 1 is f08
sorry to say, but its the heater relay on the pcb
new pcb, and smart card/reader required
typical, unreliable indesit electronics im afraid
helo_75
Participantyes, but did you take the cover off the conditioner compartment?

Participantthe outer drums on new machines tend to be welded, which, if the bearings go, render it useless
a split tub allows a reasonably priced repair
bosch all the way from your choices
helo_75
Participantthats it
theyre shocking fror restricting airflowi break them off and unplug the valve, they work a lot better

Participanthttp://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … utout.html
is the correct thermal fuse.. its in the link wire from the loom to the heater, with a sheath, screwed to the box itselfnow if its gone, u need to know why
split the heater box, if it has a grey ribbed hose to the rear of the box, it has a filter that needs cleaning or replacing, make sure the fan runs freely and isnt foulingcould even be the heater, test it with a meter
all with the plug out of course

Participantits a welded tub
u need to take the front weight off to do it properly

Participanthas anyone actually seen the new beko tubs?

Participantwell, you can reprogram a board for an f09 fault
but
considering it is an indesit, and it is a washer dryer , and it has gone pop, then it will more than likely need a new board
and heres the good news
depending on serial number, it will need a wiring change
it will need a smart card
and youll need an adaptor to program itaround £120 will do it
then you just got to hope that nothing on the machine has done the damage, cos your new one will blow too
dont be shocked if its been dripping from the heater/fan joint
emw could supply you a good board at a good price, you just need to tread carefully
hope this helps
helo_75
Participanterm, has anyone thought to check the thermal fuse with a meter?
helo_75
Participantjust check the connections on the pcb first
its normally the pcb to be honest
wortth tryin a pressure switch firsthelo_75
Participantit is becoming more common
for years, they were never an issue
i try taking the knob off and spraying a little bit of silicone grease down the shaft first and foremost.. quite often that cures it
easy to change to be fair, but you have to be gas safe registered
