Participantthe presure switch , obviously is a switch that measures pressure
theres a bottle on the side of the sumphose whih then has a thin tube which then leads to the switch
as the machine fills with water, air is forced up the tube and as a suitable fill level is met, the switch activates, and the valve is switched offnow.. possible cures?
1 > sometjhing stuck in the pump.. taking the sump of the rear of the machine will confirm this
2 > hole in the pressure hose
3 > faulty pressure switch itself
4 > faulty control board
5 > machine syphoning… this isnt uncommon in machines that have been sat for a while.. questions are – does it fill with water? doea the water level go up the glass? does it fill with water and never seem to fill up?
that would involve adjustment of the waste hose… is it in a stand pipe? is it pushed too far down? the end of the hose should only be placed 2-3 inches in the stand pipe, not pushed to the bottom
many questions, numerous potential cures
but if your gonna look, unplug and make sure you work cleanly and safelygood luck

Participantthe pumps always run at the start of every program, thats normal
quite often, its a faulty valve coil?
not impossible pcb is faulty though, ive had that too
helo_75
Participantis it hot snd cold fill?
if it is it sounds like the hot valve is trying to top the machine up after its second fillcheck the water supply is good, and the filter in the valve is not blocked
it does sound like a water supply problem

Participantsorry if my previous post was a little abrupt
i apologise, i was in a rush…
however, i must point out that the fact that the heater was indeed wet, and that needs investigating
theres probably a blockage in th e cahannel from the condenser chamber to the pump, leading to water overspilling onto the fan and wetting the heater
the drain hole is situated in the pump chamber, and is on the bottom left of the the housing, under the pump… its worth pushing something through it to make sure its clear
good luck
