    I did ask at my local major spares supplier who shall be namless but they couldnt find them on the bosch website only the housing came up i was told over the phone

    well thermistor would be next i know you say you tested it but iwould replace it as cheap fix failng that you are down to board change, these machines were prone to fan slipping down the shaft and fouling the housing but ithink you would be able to spot that, the early machines had the one shot stat

    Petzl head torch gives you two free hands and shines were you look wouldnt be without it very bright not cheap 25/30 pound

    have you checked the mesh filter at the back of the heater box

    thanks paul i did suspect module will have a look at the pin the relay will be on the board on the right of console with the prog buttons i presume

    If you get any odd ball faults on this machines the first thing i do is plug in a wash thermistor its amazing how often it cures fault might help you

    She knows its on the rinse it has a small digital display window shows wash then rinse followed by dry i also asked her to open door on wash after 10 min to check heater she said it did get hot its 14years old so i dont think it would be on recall list

    this machine did go into a spin after a short period on dry i have not been back to fit ntc but i will let you know what happens

    mains suppressors can fail but you will have to take machine out to test

    Thanks for the info i seem to recall waiting along time for valve to kick in on a previous machine and yes it does go into a spin on dry is the fault i have connected to this pcb you mention i will check on my next visit when i intended to change dryer ntc

    didnt know there was one were at the bottom exactly is it located i suppose if i looked it would be obviouse
