    martin is correct but more likly wire burnt off heater terminal or if not check stat control switch connection they also were prone to burning

    could be stat above door does go faulty will work intermitantly

    I checked for water in the base that was ok i think u could be right didnt think at the time will go back and check the float thanks

    Not known for harness faults but i have had display mods dead on a few of these if you have a console mod off any digital display hotpoint you can use it to test

    it wont work without it if i am not mistaken if you short it out the resistance will be to low cant find my notes to tell you the reading for ntc well its p–ing it down so i dont want to go to my van but someone out there will know , they are very cheap go and buy one its worth it

    This sounds like fun can i join in all lights flashing just means there is a fault i to have found changing ntc could cear fault but beware i had a washer/dry changed wash ntc cleared fault got a re-call still flashing changed dryer ntc cleared fault got recall turned out to be a faulty pump :offtopic: not ready to throw the towel in yet Jim eh

    you do have to be very carefull not to damage the heater on the other half of the motor as you refit them thats were i would go next

    looks like you have to buy complete housing incl bearings 85+vat
