Could be the thermal fuse at fault. Usually means a new heater assembly on these Candy dryers.

Re: Looking for a powerful upright for pet hair – advice?

We have both a SEBO X4 Extra upright vacuum and a dog.

It takes only seconds to sprinkle a small dose of THIS into the top of the bag every time we use the vac, no odours, in fact a nice perfumed smell follows you round as you vac. 🙂

Re: Hotpoint Whirlpool WF310 error code help!

When the capacitor fails which is very common then ALL of the lights flash rapidly.

No harm in having a look, the common one is the largest of the three grouped closely together, look for ‘doming’ on the top.

Given what you say you have checked it does point to pcb failure. 🙁

Re: Hotpoint Whirlpool WF310 error code help!

Those vertical lights flashing are supposed to be F15 but the other lights are not any part of a known error code.
As already mentioned the electronics in these are amongst the most unreliable on the market and they could be corrupted. The machine has got to be well over ten years old now so a degree of circumspection is in order. 😉

Does it say WF310 on the front right hand edge of the facia?

Re: Hotpoint Whirlpool WF310 error code help!

The On/Off light should be flashing obviously faster than any of the left hand vertical lights. The row of horizontal lights are not used for error codes, however as I have said it is the left hand vertical lights that give error codes. Ignore what they are called and list them by number from to down.

Re: Hotpoint Whirlpool WF310 error code help!

Nothing at all to do with Whirlpool, made long before they took over. It is a Hotpoint with woeful Indesit electronics in it.

Error codes on this machine are given by flashing the On/off light rapidly and flashing a combination of the left hand vertical lights more slowly.
Are you sure about that model number because the WF310 does not have those features such as Wash Enhance and Mini Load. how many small knobs are there to the left of the main control knob.

TBH the actual names of the vertical buttons is immaterial, codes are given by number of each light from top to bottom.

Are all the lights flashing at the same speed? There is a well known fault on the main power pcb that can cause that.

Looking at the official parts software does show the brackets with the door glass.

Has the glass broken or have the brackets just come adrift?

Don’t forget to mention that in all likelihood you damaged the pressure switch yourself by blowing into it. Also mention that you allowed foreign objects to block the pump in the first place. 😉

    Re: Football 2016/17

Well an eventful end to the season, Martins’ Royals miss out at the death but TBH I thought the Terriers deserved to win and did finish two places above Reading in the Championship.

Eddies’ boys the Trotters defied all pre season predictions and will spend another season with the big boys.

Dons’ Saints promised much but fell away at the end.

As for Marks’ Spurs, they looked to have the best all round squad but still came up short and won nothing. Maybe next season if they can hang on to certain players.

United finished a marathon 64 game season with 3 trophies (well 2.5) 😉 and Champions League qualification. A lot of room for improvement at Old Trafford still needed but something to build on.
Roll on next season, off to watch the cricket now. 8)

    Moved to correct forum.

What exactly do you mean by ‘keeps going back to prewash’ ?

Do you mean the machine stops with the prewash light flashing?
