some might say Beko but I couldn’t possibly comment, £200 gets you basement and rarely bargain basement at that. 🙁

That one does have the little notches for the plate to clip onto, first one I’ve had to change on one so not looked at the plate that closely TBH.

    Re: AW23 fill valve

Yes and no, it has a connecting plate that plugs onto the four terminals which has a small connector at the end.
This will pull off but it will not ‘clip’ onto the standard double valve in the same way, I am sure it would be possible to fit a bog standard valve by removing the four plastic clips, can’t see it possibly falling off.

The information you are giving is confusing to say the least. In your first post you mention the PUMP, in your last post the MOTOR?????

Re: Indesit IWDC6143 intermittent pump failure

Worn pumps can work intermittently but your machine would have had to have been used excessively for yours to be that badly worn, but then it is an Indesit after all. 🙁

The electronics are sometimes a bit ticklish on these, as is the water level switch.

I know you say the pump impellor will turn, but does it have any ‘side to side’ movement. If it has, even a small amount then it will seize intermittently.

When you have to order a part the instant question, “how long will it be ?”
Even after 40 odd years I still can’t resist standing there like the angler with the ‘one that got away’. Both hands apart approximating the length of said part saying “about that long” . 😈

3 phase motor, no brushes. Nothing at all to do with the drain pump. In the absence of any error codes then it becomes guesswork.

Could be faulty main motor, poor wiring connections or main module failure.

Sadly as you did not give us a model number we cannot do more than guess. At eight years old it might be worth checking the motor brushes, assuming it has a brush gear motor of course.

They have always been prone to leaking from the front of the drawer, can’t say I have ever seen one leak from where you indicate though.???

Hopper cover for your machine is C00283632.

As you are going to have to remove it at some point if you intend to try and change it then it might not be a bad idea to strip it down first. You can then check for any blockages on the internal tubes.

    Re: BEKO washer, no heat?

TBH I wasn’t convinced it had a fault. He said when he takes clothes out they are very cold. He also insisted that he tried it on a 90C wash and it didn’t get hot.

I told him to try it again and watch his meter. He has now rung back to say the light on his meter was blinking rapidly and it now seems to be heating up. :rolls:

Have you pulled the drawer right out and given it a thorough clean inside the detergent chamber recently?

You would also need to supply full serial number and commercial code, these poorly made Indesit dispensers have been subject to many modifications due to various leaks, not all parts are interchangeable.
