Re: Hotpoint WMA35 – Killing motors

Was the second motor also a Bosch one, of the three types used on this machine they were the least reliable by a long way.

F13, you have a choice of several possible faults, Drying NTC open/short circuit/fan motor jammed/condenser blocked.

    Re: User Manual

TL22 is an old Hotpoint model number that was sold under several other names including GE. Sadly due to it’s age the manual is no longer available from Hotpoint.

It is a very basic, dual temperature, reversing, vented dryer so should be fairly easy to use.

I do actually have a copy of the service manual which does contain a very brief description of the various functions.

If you send me a PM (Private Message) with your e mail address I can send you a copy, not as good as a user manual but better than nothing.

And no mention of you actually testing these components electrically before you replaced them?

    Re: New dishwasher not working!!

That would be the best thing to do, from the description you have given it does appear as though it is faulty. Do let us know the outcome.

Can’t think of anything unless it is the first dishwasher I have come across that has a cold wash cycle. 🙂 Who supplied it?

Was there any sign of water going into the machine?

Sounds faulty, go back to the retailer.

Check the inside of the rubber door seal along the bottom of the door, any spillage can lodge in there, furl it back to look inside.
