The timer is still available here in the UK. Timer . Not sure about your part of the world, Portugal possibly?

Re: Dryer Timer Assemble (expert probably)

It is almost certain that not one of the trade members of this forum would ever go to the trouble of dismantling the timer in this way. We do not have any technical information to do this even if we wanted to. We would change the timer or nothing.

What is the exact make and model number?

That would depend on what the make of appliance is, and stating the make and model should not compromise your claim.

If it is cheap, own brand Chinese made or other similar budget equipment then ten years is very, very optimistic. 😉

    Re: Programme button problem

Been quite a while since I touched any of this Chinese made c**p. Very few people daft enough to spend that sort of money on one of these. 🙁

From memory I do recall the programme selection button causing problems.

A recent Which report on large hotel chains put Brittania Hotels at the bottom of the pile, the Ramada chain was only just above them.

I must say that my first experience of dealing with them doesn’t bode well.

I rang last night at 5.20pm to make a reservation, not what I would call late in the day to ring a large hotel.
After waiting ages for the phone to be answered a young lady picked up the phone.

She then took my name and phone number and promised someone would ring me back. I find it strange that when phoning ‘reservations’ you are not actually able to make one there and then. Needless to say the promised phone call did not materialise. 🙁

If I can’t see a plug that is not pulled from the socket then I wouldn’t trust an on/off switch without passing my mains sniffer over it.

So you have never seen a faulty on/off switch before. Any on/off switch to me just means a piece of plastic is in one position as opposed to another.

    Re: Beko facia

Thanks Don, I suspected as much, bloody stupid idea given how often those plastic tabs break.:(

Edit, what a surprise, can’t believe just how cheap this whole facia is. Something similar for Whirlpool would be touching three figures.

    Re: Suspected fault pressure switch

4 different models of this machine with different pressure switches. Blowing into the switch, even gently can damage the switch but unless you blow quite hard you will not trip the other switch which is the overfill level.

Full model number, serial number and commercial code from the label inside the door needed to ID.

Can also be due to blockages in the pressure hose chamber, poor connections etc.

Pressure switch is cheap enough to take a punt on though as long as you fit the correct one. 😉
