Agony Aunt.
Dear Deirdre,
I’ve never written to you before, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision. I’ve suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs. The phone rings, but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently, although when I ask their names she always says, “Just some friends from work. You don’t know them.”
I sometimes stay awake to look out for her cab coming home, but she always comes walking up the drive as I hear the sound of a car leaving, around the corner. I once picked up her cell phone, just to see what time it was. This caused her to go completely berserk. She quickly snatched the phone out of my hand and cursed me hysterically, screaming that I should never touch her personal property. She then accused me of trying to spy on her. Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife.
I think deep down, that I just didn’t want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her. I decided I was going to park my Harley Davidson Lowrider next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the street around the corner when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my motorcycle, that I noticed a small amount of motor oil leaking through the gasket between the rear head and rocker arm cover.
So, is this something I can easily repair myself or do you think I should take it back to the dealer?

ModeratorRe: h20 keeps appearing
As you have realised H20 is some clever clogs programmers idea of a subtle hint., ie, H20 as in water. It does mean that the machine has ‘timed out’ on fill. If the valves themselves are faulty then you should get a different error code. Do you have a poor water pressure or ‘dirty’ mains water? Have you removed the fill hoses and put them into a bucket and turned the taps on, sometimes the modern poorer quality plastic Red & Blue taps can appear to be turned on when in reality it is only the plastic that is turning and not the tap.

Hi Lou, nothing to do with gender, drum replacement on these is not really a DIY job.
If your fluff filter slots into a metal duct around the door then what you really need is a complete drum conversion kit. This includes a revised plastic front duct, new drum, fans, stats, seals, filter, back panel etc, etc. In short the whole thing has been modified. Cost of drum kit is around £50.00 + vat, it involves a complete strip down of the machine. If you could give us the full serial number of your machine we could be more precise, but if it has a metal duct, the conversion kit is the only long term cure.

Clear enough Baron, thanks for the ‘beers’ . 8)
The bearing shaft coming loose inside the spider did happen on WM spiders, not seen one one a WMA spider yet, but there is always a first time.

ModeratorRe: Indesit wd12 no heat when drying
You need to get the machine checked out electrically, the stat, NTC, elements, wiring and to a lesser extent the controls themselves can all cause this fault.
A multimeter or suitable test equipment is required. If you do not have access to these, try the link at the bottom of this post. Plug out at all times when working on the machine.

No problems with City Link here either, Lynx on the other hand, not bad at actually delivering but often find boxes damaged or obviously roughly handled.

Well for the first time ever Wenger could truthfully say he didn’t see anything last night. :rolls: 😛 😆
And Fergie always gives an interview to Sky TV after the match, he just won’t speak to the Beeb.

Sorry if I went a bit OT on this one, http://tinyurl.com/yn4f5k
It is just that until my contact had his access pulled, I saw some of the crap that indespoint was spouting on the FSE forum, he is still labouring under the illusion that Indesit is an excellent company that has been ruined by Hotpoint. 😯
