Wiring is different but test procedure seems to have worked.?
There is no Chopper board on these, only on 1600 spin models, what you have is the Control module & Power module.

ModeratorRe: What is the difference between machines?
They are both budget machines built to a very low spec and considered in the trade as very much bottom of the market machines. Whatever you intend to pay, try and add as little more to your budget and buy something better, it won’t be difficult and you will benefit in the long term.
The current Indesit range has completely sealed drums, complicated, expensive and unreliable electronics etc, don’t say you haven’t been warned.
Why not type ‘Indesit’ in the search facility and have a good read before you take the plunge. 😉So, to answer your question, there is very little difference between one Indesit and another when it comes to quality and reliablity, now if you had said “What is the difference between Indesit & Brand X” we could be more specific.

Have to agree with all of the above, the Bosch motor is the one that causes most problems on WMA PCB’s without a doubt.

Hi jj, is there a bearing kit for these smaller shaft/bearing assy’s or do you replace with the standard kit?

Some mate, it is a well known fact that certain lower spin speed models were fitted with thinner drumshafts and smaller bearings. :rolls:iadom

Strange given the amount of Hotpoint machines I do that I have never seen any of the smaller bearings., although I know they exist. I don’t think there is a ‘kit’. I stand to be corrected but a drum rear and shaft may be your only alternative. You may source the right sized bearings but the seal may be a different matter.
No doubt one of the ‘official’ bods will clarify the situation.

There you go, one for all Prisoner fans. If the humble Mods are number 2’s, I guess that makes Ken the hidden ,unseen and sinister NUMBER ONE. 😉 😆

ModeratorRe: Consumer box making funny noise
She had a bloke round yesterday after the washer was found to be causing the trip to go.
The noise is of course something quite different. You will have to remember that this description is from a ‘girl’ 😆
Apparently there are two water heating systems, an off peak one and a booster system 😕
The switch/thingymejig, AC doofer ( her description ) in the box was firing on and off rapidly causing the very loud noise. He has temporarily disconnected this until he obtains a part and switched the booster on permanently so that she has hot water until he returns.
It didn’t make much sense to me but there you have it.
He doesn’t do washing machines but there is no way I am going all the way down town to have a look at a poxy integrated Ariston washer dryer that already has a slight split in the inner drum. The landlord is dealing with it, in the meantime large bags of washing appeared here at the weekend.

Click on your ‘profile’ Look under ‘Total Posts’ and click on, find all posts by. 😉
Unfortunately not infallible, it often stalls after three or four pages. The forum has been running like a dead dog at times in the evenings recently. 😥
