    Re: Hotpoint Armatures

I use Qualtex ARM 20 armatures on virtually all GDA type motors.

Generally very reliable but the pulley is still not fitted far enough down the shaft. 😥

I did hear that they are even supplying Hotpoint with them.

It is very common to see spiders with only three bolts, one in each arm, and was not a mistake, it was no doubt done as a cost saving exercise. I have yet to see one with only two bolts though.

Cracking game at Old Trafford last night. Did anyone happen to notice what name the scorer of Celtic’s first goal had on the back of his shirt. ❓

Or did it go from wrist to wrist. 😀

Sorry but for the reasons mentioned above we cannot go into precise details.

This type of support is a little scratchy for Indesit to say the least. 😥

Re: Ariston AFA 350 – Error – Water not pumping

It sounds as though you are describing the overflow system, it does not have a connection at the lower end. Overfill or more commonly oversoaping associated with 3 in 1 or 4 in 1 tablets will lead to water running into the base which should then trip the float switch, energize the drain pump and flash an error message. This should be a different one to your error code but error codes are not always 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} accurate. Is there any sings of water in the base, does any water run out from underneath if you tilt the machine to one side or backwards?

Yep, round about the time that Boro last won anything meaningful. 😛

Re: Indesit DI620 Integrated – Error Code

This is usually a drain time out fault, that means to say the machine has failed to empty in the allotted time due to pump failure or blockage.

1+2 flashing can also be a software recognition error, a possibility it it is happening early in the programme.

first one is not that difficult a fix, second one not easy.

Neon number two flashing indicates a fill valve related fault. Valve may be breaking down under load if it starts to fill initially.

Thanks for that johnnyj, very helpful.

To be honest I have not had a heater failure on any WMA based machines, the odd loose wire or severe coin damage, but no heater failures as such.

ali_b. To clarify, if you cannot observe the electricity meter revolving or flashing quickly then it follows from what johnnyj has said that your machine is not heating. Whilst visual inspection may reveal the cause, if it does not, then checking with correct test equipment is the only answer.

With the plug removed of course. 😉

The only way to get one that is not listed is by telephone.

Try the number for spares etc here. http://tinyurl.com/hsury
