Unfortunately none of the WM ones I have a remotely like that I’m afraid.
I went to a 17087 today and made a note of the P/SW wiring just in case bit it was nothing like that. 😥Also Partfinder lists pressure switch as a 3 level which I would expect with all those connections although the numbers you give don’t tie up with a 3 level switch. 😕
I have made an enquiry to a contact who is going to have a look through his collection. 😉iadom

Wouldn’t this post and any subsequent discussion be better in the Trade Forums?

Has indespoint applied for trade access? it was obvious from his first couple of posts that he was an Indesit Co engineer, just wondered if he had joined the ‘Dark Side’ or not 😉

I don’t have a Creda manual but as this is a Hotpoint clone, we could possibly narrow it down to a similar Hotpoint model if you can give me the wiring colours, pressure switch terminal numbers and the destination of the wires from the pressure switch.

Just thought I’d let you into a secret sparepart, Nottingham is not in ‘The Friendly North’, although most southerners think the North begins at the Watford Gap :rolls: Nottingham is in the Midlands.
Give and ye shall receive, its a question of your attitude as well as your customers. I have worked in this trade mainly in the Manchester area but have also done a fair stint in the London area, and several others. I have found good and bad in all areas but the average working class people are usually decent folk, it is the middle class and the nouveau rich that get up my nose most of the time, but as long as they pay the bill I can put up with it.

Agreed, but he is undermining my advice by giving the punter precise details on how to remove the hob. As yet he hasn’t asked what I was about to do if the OP came back which was, how does he know for sure the element is faulty, it could be the regulator, I was saving that one. 😉

Heyup, he’s having a go at one of mine now. I think you need to have a quiet word with workman1 Greg.

Don’t you just feel like saying to some punters, if you where stupid enough not to mark the wires, leave the bloody thing alone and get an expert in. 👿

We will just have to keep an eye on workman1 then. 😉
