The only other number she gave me was 443/18788 but she did say it was an Aquaviva 🙂 well actually she said an Aquarius at first. 😆

Moved to Trade Spares. My copy of TDS does not come up with anything for that number, you may need to get a PNC number from the machine if possible.

Re: Hotpoint BF71 error code F

You may have a flooded base, first unplug the machine, then if you can pull it forwards and lean it back against a wall or cupboard, you may find water draining out from underneath, ( I should have warned you to get some towels handy). If it then works fine it must have been the water he allowed to overflow that caused the problem, if the fault does not go away or returns then you may have an internal leak that needs attention.
Of course this assumes that whoever installed this integrated appliance did their job correctly, unfortunately the percentage is on the low side. 😥

That is correct, all parts are free, if they have to return to complete the repair you should only have to make one payment.

F-02 relates to motor, jammed or tacho fault. not a DIY fix to be honest. you do have a five year parts g/tee, might be advisable to use it., or click on the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help. Plug out if you intend to go inside. :zap:

It goes back a little further than that.

This is really just the Groaniad 😉 rehashing old news.( 1979 updated in 2002)

Not a model I am to familiar with, others on the trade side may be more up to speed on Zanussi dryers. You are far more likely to get some condensation with any model if it is in a very cold room, if it has been like this from day one that would suggest a likely cause. If it has only started happening recently then you may have a problem with drum/door seals etc.

The origin of the clip you have posted would be interesting as a starter. Daily paper, trade mag etc?
The ‘reasonable period of time’ has been around for many, many years now.

    Re: Oven door.

Once you have locked the top arm you should be able to lift the bottom arm on each side a little, then lift the door slightly and press down on the lower arm, I have just experimented on my Creda oven door and it is a fiddle but I removed it in 20 seconds. There is a large notch on the top edge of the lower arm and a much smaller one on the bottom edge, both of which slot into place. Perseverence is what is required.

    Re: Quiet Machine

Unfortunately with that limited budget you will be buying a poor quality machine whatever make you buy, the reliabilty will be more of a problem than the noise, and in a very short time as well. 😥 Try to budget for nearer £300 at the least and you will have a better chance of buying a decent machine.
