It doesn’t even list it on Partfinder, the same sized Hotpoint door seal is a 1701679, only about £4.25 so worth risking.

Manufacturers list, inc Vat. I would guess that the similar Zanussi drum is a lot more.
apparently the latest Hotpoint 7kg machines are going to have a sealed drum. 😥

    Re: hotpoint wd420 washer dryer

My advice would have been to get the machine checked out before you changed the motor, you are covered by a full five years parts warranty on these machines, Hotpoint would have fitted all the parts required for just under £90.00 labour charge. The machine should be showing error messages by flashing the lights on the left hand side of the control panel.

I think it is a case of when you are in a hole stop digging. The Hotpoint/Indesit engineers ( your machine has the great misfortune to have Indesit electronics in it) have special tools and software on their laptops for diagnostic checks that are not available to the independant trade. If you change the module after changing the motor you will have spent (wasted) around £150 upwards, way above their labour charge, and may still not cure the fault.

Swallow your pride and ring Hotpoint or click the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help.

On/Off & Start buttons combined in one unit…1604589
    Console module…1604719 (£57.00 ex vat)

That is for a WF250P, if it is a WF250G then you need
1604787 for On/Off buttons and 1604899 for console module. (£69.00 ex vat)

Andy, have a look at recent Indesit, the latest Hotpoint, low end Zanussi etc. They now all have completely sealed drums. No drum support/bearing/inner drum repairs etc. If you get something really fast behind the drum ( I have just had to remove a Hotpoint washer/dryer drum to get at a sock jammed in the drum support) then you will need a complete new drum.

Indesit W103UKBG, sealed drum, cost of drum £106.00

Not forgotton this Kevin, funny how things go in cycles. The last couple of weeks have been WMA drum time, done several. I have changed two WM type drum supports this week already, both now in four pieces, will add another then get them of to you.

Let me know the address I need to send them to.

    Re: Hotpoint DWF30 problem

It is possible that you have an internal leak on the machine. Remove the plug and place some towels to hand. Tilt the machine back as far as you can to allow the water to drain away. If the machine now works you will then need to keep an eye on it. If the fault returns then you will need to either find the leak or contact an engineer, try the link in my sig if you need help.
Also avoid using 3 in 1 or 4 in 1 tablets, these can cause oversudsing leading to a flooded base. Use separate Detergent/Rinse aid/Salt .

What is the Connections price Pat, list is only £3.50 ex vat.

Partfinder lists 16 models that use this paddle, A1435UK is not one of them. 😉

Strange that, I was also looking at E.Spares today checking out a few Hotpoint prices, I think that in future if I have the laptop up and running in a customers house I will always open it on the ESpares site, they are so overpriced it is almost criminal, come back RPM. 😉 😆
