Listed on Partfinder, no sign of any other temp sensor or cut out on the diagram or parts list.

Re: Indent Moon SIXL145 Selector box

Looks like a complete control board assembly, around £100. 🙁

There are a few versions of the SIXL145 so full serial number and commercial code needed for exact part numbers.
See attached picture for an SIXL145UK.

Moved to correct forum, you are listed as trade but posted your question in the public forums.
The pcb is a strong contender for your fault, don’t have the manual for this machine but a lot of them are switched in the neutral so having a live feed to the heater is only half of the circuit.

Was the displaced heater tested for continuity/resistance?

Re: Hotpoint WLD520 Washer Drier Leak

The Indesit type dispenser drawers on all Hotpoint machines of this age had leak problems. Several modifications made to try and overcome the problem, at one time there was a complete dispenser/drawer kit but now you have to order the various parts individually and identifying the correct parts is a minefield. Full model number, serial number and commercial code is needed.

You could try reducing the water pressure to the machine if your mains pressure is high, use the tap to the inlet hose to adjust flow. Also raising the two front feet to give the machine a very slight backwards tilt can help.

AFAIK the mains pressure is fairly consistent through out the day.

You don’t need to take anything out to test.

Re: Hotpoint LFT 114 – Possible heater fault

Forgive me for saying this but some of your questions suggest that you have a very limited knowledge of electrical problems or safe working methods.

The machine should not be tested ‘during the cycle’. The machine should be unplugged from the mains and the heating element tested for continuity, resistance and insulation.

Re: Hotpoint LFT 114 – Possible heater fault

Have you checked the heater yet?

Pressure switch less likely than heater or module which is situated in the bottom front of the machine. Unless the module is obviously physically damaged you won’t really be able to ‘test it’. Also there are different modules for this machine, all of which require programming with a one use only smart card and an expensive card reader.

Re: Hotpoint LFT 114 – Possible heater fault

2+4 is a no heat fault. It could be the heater, pressure switch, module, broken wiring etc, not the greatest machines on the market and prone to heater and module faults.

The heater is part of the main circulation pump housing and can be tested with the correct electrical test equipment, it is not easy to actually test the module though.

Re: Solar plus model 48337 noisy

Cooling fan is just about visible from behind a small panel at the back but the complete hob has to be removed to access it.

Also note that there are two totally different cooling fans used on this machine so correct serial number is essential to identify, sadly they are both around the £100 mark. 🙁
