And we all know how to pronounce Gorenje now. 😉

Not sure about the Indesit models, but the 3 hour light on the Indesit produced Hotpoint machines indicates flooded base. It flashes on the Hotpoint ones though.

It means there is no signal from the tacho, ( the motor is not running 😉 ) It may not be too expensive, two different motors used on this machine with different brushes, one far more reliable than the other, have a look in Repairs@ for someone in your area.

Remove the plug if you intend to ‘go inside’

I did have a brisk walk early on Saturday morning, went to look at Bosworth Field, where the Lancashire Hotpot’s stuffed the Yorkshire Puddings. 🙂
I believe you know a couple of squash playing friends of mine from DS Supplies, Stoke.

    Re: wma 58s hotpoint wash

If the machine is under five years old you are covered by your manufacturers parts warranty. The motor will more than likely have caused the module failure, can also be caused by wiring harness damage.

Hotpoint will charge you just under £90 for labour only, far less than the cost of the parts required.

Looking at that serial number, it is well under five years old.

Being keen to be a part of this I filled in the application form before I realised details had been posted. Then repenting at liesure and reading the blurb I wondered if I would be, as a one man biz, considered sufficiently resourced to actually participate, it all came over as `big operation stuff`.

I would not be able to hold finished goods stock – maybe one on the van – and my home office would not be manned all the time. I am sure there are many such like me in the UKW forums. How and will you discriminate?

    Laurence

I also voiced my concerns about such matters to Ken and his reply has been very helpful. Laurence, I think the word you are looking for is accommodate, not discriminate. 😉

    Re: Hotpoint TDL60 Tumble Drier

The reason for the short, anti clockwise tumble without heat on the TDC condensor dryers is due to the shape of the fans which only ‘blow’ in a clockwise direction. not sure why they use the same timer in the TDL vented dryers which have the same fan as basic vented dryers which have reversing times the same in both directions.

    Glad you sorted it. 🙂

    Re: NDT and Launch

Not a bad idea, a December launch would be just before the main Christmas spending spree, when people are not really thinking about whitegoods unless it is an emergency. Mid January would allow the physical and financial headaches to have eased somewhat.

Anyway, the point of this post is that I don’t remember seeing or being introduced to iadom or alf_uckem ??? It would also be so very nice if someone would be kind enough to post names to faces in the photo gallery that I may be so enlightened 😆

Is it me or are Penguin45’s feathers growing longer by the way?
We did speak briefly, no offence but Cher was looking more attractive on the Friday night. 😀

I have identified myself in the gallery. Friday afternoon, page 12. I have always been a quite person, the type you have to keep an eye on. 😉

I sailed serenely up the M1 then across the M62, 2 hours exactly back to Oldham. I would guess that I could make Pendle from the M62/M66 in around 30 minutes.
