Partfinder has motor as 1604812 analogue 800/1200 motor for timer with separate module.

1604820 is 800/1200 digital motor for use with hybrid controls.

    1604810 is analogue 1000 motor.

Yeh but, no but, yeh but…why have mine only failed on two Creda ones and not Hotpoint dryers, I have fitted the same CAP08 to three times more Hotpoint than Creda and never had an early failure. 😀

The whole darned thing is a complete waste of money, a three way cold fill valve would have done the job just as well.

You could have warned me about the two small empty plugs on the new distributors edge connectors. For one heart stopping moment I though I had the wrong part when I couldn’t get the plugs back on. 😳 😀

Re: Multiple capacitor failure on creda C dryers

Did try a 7mf on the one last year, although the one I replaced recently definately had an 8mf as original.
Might be worth trying a gen one just in case, although when it arrives it will more than likely be exactly the same as the Qualtex one. 😥

Funny thing is that on PF the capacitor for the 37754 is listed as
X245592 7UF capacitor and the one for the Hotpoint TDC30 range is listed as a 1701581 7MFD capacitor?

And as I repaired a 24 year old Hotpoint 18370 on Monday. With only a small amount of good luck it is good for another 3 to 5 years.

Poor soap dispensing is usually caused by low water pressure. What type of detergent do you use. The Ariel & Daz tablets will dispense with fairly low water pressure without clogging the drawer.

Re: Indesit washerdryer WDG 1095 W control module query

Is this machine actually a WDG1095WG

If so this is unlikely to be a control module fault, the module on this machine is a motor speed control module only.

Service manuals are not available in any legitimate form, would strongly advise that you get a second opinion, try looking here

Your guess as to the fault being the control timer may not be far of the mark but my original advice still stands. Please pull the plug if you intend to go further.

When you say the soap tray stopped emptying, do you mean the fabric conditioner compartment was full of water or that the soap was not being flushed out of the drawer.

I thought I would snare someone else with my base attempt to drum up some humour, think I will go and put the kettle on.

And I don’t seem to be getting much tympani from you lot.

Thanks again, I did eventually take the trouble to read the info 😳 and spotted the difference in the handedness of the hinges. Looks very much like the correct one.

Any idea of the AM120 hose ??? 🙂
