Thanks Dave, is there a Qualtex match for that element.
Not sure about the hinge unless one of them is as blue as that picture. I have seen it but it is difficult from that pic to decide which is which.
The one on the fridge is not that blue.
Nb. sussed the hinges, when I had worked out my right hand from my left I knew which I needed. 🙂

On most of these the 3rd neon flashing is a thermistor fault.

Right. Oven is a Nardi FE0614 ( no other info available)
Oven element goosed.Integrated fridge is a Necht, only model info I can find is on salad bay plate. Model N2. no other serial number or info.
Requires bottom hinge.
This is one of those kitchens you dread. The fitted kitchen firm supplied all the appliances ( big mistake) the job cost her £6,000 just over 2 years ago. The hob extractor does not work, the Necht dishwaher has been written off after numerous service calls, the bulb in the fridge has burnt the inside of the liner etc.

ModeratorRe: Indesit WD12SUK 5 Flash Fault
If the motor and brushes are OK then they do not need ‘cleaning up’ .
Water probe ???
5 flashes is connected to the water level control sytem but on these machines error codes are a best a rough guide, quite often a fault on the main control board will give several spurious error codes.
Opening up and cleaning selector switch/timer is also not recommended., and attempting to adjust the pressure switch is also a bad idea. Your five flashes could be a self inflicted fault 😥
Might be time to look here

She should be seeing some of the lights flashing an error code.
Does it stick full or empty?

ModeratorRe: Silicon sealant
Debor for hose to drum etc, Qualtex MIS86 Epoxy putty for plastic drum repairs, occasionally Araldite Rapide for small jobs.
PS. The cheque is in the post. 😉

Will monitor the situation, have told the customer to check if the drum is reversing the next time it sticks.

ModeratorRe: Help with brand new whirlpool not working
I know this may sound silly, but you have turned the water on haven’t you ?
It is quite often overlooked, also if it has been fitted to an existing tap then the tap may be faulty, best way to check is to make sure you have water coming out of the fill hose to the dishwasher.

ModeratorRe: Indesit WD12 Dial keeps rotating, light flashing 9 times
The manuals you can download are basic user manuals, not technical info.
Error code 9 relates to a software/electronic control module problem.
Really a job for the experts

ModeratorRe: hotpoint DWF50 wont drain
Error 3+4 is either timeout draining or timer hardware version error.
Could be blocked pump or hoses, or module fault.
Not an easy pump to access, would suggest you try here. http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … whitegoods
Please remove the plug if you are going to investigate further.

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint WMA32 codes
You only needed to ask, we would have been able to supply the part numbers without any problem. Three different motors fitted to this machine. Cost around £100.

ModeratorRe: ariston F 08 error code
You can get a free service manual as soon as you finish your training as a service engineer for Indesit 😉
This information is copyright and not available in most cases.
Model ALD160 does not appear on the manufacturers parts ID software.
F08 is a possible heater relay/ pressure switch/ control module fault.
Best advice is to look here. http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … whitegoods
