    Re: Baumatic TD vent hose?

Not sure if it is possible to fit this hose inside the large plastic elbow of the original, never tried TBH.

    K.
Just received this and it is nothing like that picture, it is just a bog standard hose with a little round plastic adaptor and a small wall fixing??????

Just a thought, the advertising box for the ‘find an engineer’ link that pops up in the middle of pages could do with editing a little. ‘Does your washing machine need repaired’ doesn’t really scan. :rolls: 😀

    Re: HOTPOINT FDF780 wont start , Start/Pause LED flashing…

Need to make your pictures a bit smaller. 😉

When the stat/pause button flashes that means it is in error mode. however it should also flash up an error code in the display window. Without know what any error code is we have very little idea what the problem is.

you can do a reset by switching of at the mains or removing the plug, wait at least 30 seconds then try again, leave it ‘running’ for a while to see if an error message flags up.

Ah, I have a horrible suspicion that comes as part of an inner door panel, part not listed as a separate item, not usually a cause of leaks into the base though.

One of the ‘404’s’ just appeared again.

If you login to the new HOME page then click on Forums it takes you to the full forums lists, if you then click on Forums at the top of that page you get a 404. In fact clicking on forums on any of the old pages does the same.

Try the Forums link at the top of this page.

I wondered about that but read it as ‘six of my customers have registered including some members of my family’ 😀

That depends on your capabilities, something I know nothing about. If you unplug the machine and tilt it to one side then you should see water running out from underneath. The cause of the leak needs isolating and fixing.

That sounds like a flooded base.

Thanks Don, I did actually try that but I’m not sure that web site likes the Edge browser.

A known fault on the seriously expensive ‘Dryness module’
