Back to the customer, no such model number?

Edit, how can you see child lock if you haven’t seen the machine?

Have you removed the large plastic fan cover and fan, gives you a bit more room for access.

Sadly the ‘special tool’ is for the vented dryer, it will not work on the condenser dryer. As Martin says you just need to find a way of levering the belt over the pulley. TBH I usually manage with a flat bladed screwdriver and have never broken a pulley doing it. I have heard of others who use the old belt to pass under the new belt to pull the belt over the pulley. It is just a stupid design from start to finish. 🙁

    AOL, 😉

Sorry couldn’t resist that but in all honestly these machines can be trouble.

Most of the major components are in the base with some wiring and controls in the door and top panel.

You have water in the base which has activated the anti flood float.

Which ‘should’ have activated an error code and been visible when alro had the sides off.

Apart from getting a megger or decent multimeter to check for insulations leaks it does point to an electronics failure, quite common on Indesit appliances sadly.

A visual inspection of all components may reveal something????????

From the two pictures shown this is not the classic capacitor failure.

Then in all honesty you should not be attempting to repair electrical appliances.

    Re: Tumble dryer not heating

You really shouldn’t be buying any spares until you have tested them electrically. The heater and thermostats need testing with a suitable megger or multimeter.

Fault can also be caused by broken wiring, sticking float switch, control timer or the front thermostat.

That doesn’t look like recognised error code TBH, sadly I don’t have access to that exact models error codes but six lights flashing is not an error code on any Indesit machine AFAIK.
