    Not a thermostat, it’s a thermistor. 😉

2+4 is an open circuit heater fault.

It only takes seconds to remove the top and reveal the sealed drum, around £132.00 if your interested. 😀

You can’t, it’s a pile of Indesit made junk with a totally sealed outer drum. 🙁

Still fishing, my guess would be a possible fire risk, can’t see them recalling all those machines because of the crappy rear bearing. ❓

Can’t say I have had one that pumps all the time, did have one yesterday where the customer had fitted a new pump and then the machine would not drain.

No amount of trying the reset procedure worked so referred him back to Hotpoint. Over the past few years I have ceased to be amazed at the failures of Indesit electronics but this has to be one of the daftest set ups ever. :rolls:

Reset is needed when the pump doesn’t work, continuous pump action is ‘usually’ the pcb. 🙁

Worth noting that the reversing distribution cycle on some these is quite long before going into spin.

I still have my turntable in the loft, it will plug into my 5+1 surround sound system and true to say the sound of the old vinyl is so much richer than digital in every way.

Ha, three different version for that commercial code, bad news is that they all have the door seal that you have already got. 🙁

    Re: wma48 no spin

Pressure switch reset is nothing to do with these machines, only for the much later Indesit garbage.

You could try and run THIS it may throw up a door not closed error but you never know.

Re: Hotpoint WMF760 Washing Machine Door seal.

Are you absolutely certain about the second number, there is no commercial code that matches 064662?

The only other seal listed for WMF760’s is a C00144134 which appear to be older models with a commercial code that is nothing like yours???????

If you don’t have access to proper test equipment and know how to use them there is not much else can do TBH
