Re: are the modules interchangeable on the old wma hotpoints

    The same pcb fits,
    WMA34,5,6,7.
    WMA42,4,6,8.
    WMA52,4,6,7,8.
    WMM39,53,59.
    WMS38,39.

I have never tried to fit modules from the other WMA variants myself though, I’m guessing that the microprocessor will be different so may not program correctly?

If you still have that pcb then you could try the new connector harness mentioned above, don’t think it will have done any damage to the facia pcb.

I would check out EMW and see if they will repair that pcb, if not it will need a new, five way connector and programming. :rolls:

Full PNC (product number) would help, around 50 variants of that model number. :eeek:

I have done that seal change quite a few times and do it without removing the whole drum from the machine.

Carefully lie it on its back and with the right tools it is possible to remove the drum front without taking the whole drum out. 😉

THIS is the part you need. Much better to change it rather than attempt to seal the drum with adhesives or sealants given the amount of work involved in getting at it. 😉

    Re: ISE Ci555 leaky

The drum seal Martin mentions is a well known cause of leaks after a few years, will be more likely to leak on hotter, longer washes.

Not an expensive part but a major strip down involved.

Sorry, my mistake, it should be C00143220. :clown:
    That board is not compatible.

if that picture is looking at it from the front as if it was in situ then it is ‘supposed’ to be a fill fault, possible causes are.
Inlet valve, heater Earth fault, open circuit heater.

None of those would cause a display fault.

NB. There is no bolt missing, there is one hole for a bolt that is not actually used or needed on this machine.;)

The only way to check them properly is to remove them from the motor, a washer dryer of this age should have worn them down by well over a third unless the machine has only been used once a week.

There is nothing high quality in this Indesit machine.

Why not just check the brushes in the motor first.
