Moderator‘Trusty’????
2 pcb’s, 3 door latches and a heater, sounds about as reliable as the famous ‘Triggers Broom’ from Only Fools and Horses.:) A 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Indesit machine, I can remember a time when a Hotpoint dishwasher would last 15 years without ever being touched. 😉If you send me a PM with your email address I will send you a wiring diagram, will need full serial number though, I think there are two different versions.
Broken wiring inside door panel a common aged related fault on lots of dishwashers.
NB. It’s a BFI620, the I stands for integrated.

ModeratorGenerally most noises you need to worry about manifest themselves under heavier loads at high spin speeds. Personally I wouldn’t worry about a small squeak on start up. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse then get it looked at. One point, I almost never let my machine do the 1600 spin. A 1200 spin is perfectly adequate for 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of loads, extracts almost as much moisture and is kinder to the machine and your ears.

ModeratorThe instructions in the known error codes thread are quite straightforward. It says The BOTTOM FIVE lights are the only ones used for error codes. The error codes indicators DO NOT flash although several other lights may be flashing. So sadly you have F01. 🙁

ModeratorYou have been very lucky not to see this before. A well documented and longstanding problem on the Indesit designed detergent drawer in the whole Hotpoint model range for quite some years. A very common fault TBH. The whole drawer and hopper assembly went through several modifications before they finally sorted it. At the age your machine is it wouldn’t justify the expense of all the parts needed to cure it. One thing you can try is to adjust the front feet to give the machine a slight backward tilt. It will not affect the running of the machine but can sometimes stop the dribbling.

ModeratorIn all the years I was repairing these machines I replaced a total of …none .

Not sure about that but I do have a very good WiFi signal up there.:)

ModeratorI have been retired since April 2018. Working harder this last few weeks then for a long time. In the middle of a major back garden refurbishment. Large decking area and new summerhouse just completed. Now have to landscape and partially re turf the rest of it.

ModeratorAny fault on a drive belt will not cause a machine to vibrate and being on an uneven floor could not possibly cause a belt or pulley to distort in any way. The belt should be quite tight however belt failure or replacement is not that common these days. If for any reason the belt is close to the lip of the drum pulley then moving it one notch further out on the motor pulley should be enough to prevent this and identify it as a possible problem.

ModeratorA slightly loose drive belt ‘could’ cause this problem. You can also get a very slight squeak/squeal from the bearing drum seal on rare occasions. My own ISE10 1606W does do this now and again but it usually manifests itself halfway through a wash cycle as the drum is tumbling slowly at the end of the tumble.. This noise is something I have witnessed on many other machines over the years, Hotpoint, Hoover etc. It rarely causes a problem, my machine has done this on and off for a couple of years now.
If it is the drive belt then the heavier the load the more noticeable it will be. Does it seem to go away as the wash continues?

ModeratorF01 is a motor trial short circuit or main motor fault, neither an easy or inexpensive fix. 🙁

ModeratorHi Eddie, you didn’t give me a model no: in your WhatsApp, I only have info for IWME12UK but I think they use the same error codes. Have emailed you the manual.
Jim.

ModeratorAgree, seen it several times and even posted pictures several years ago.. One was in a beauty salon so I’m guessing it was some chemicals they used. Another was a chap who used creams for muscle strains etc.
