    Re: Engineer search

Not sure I follow that. However as a test I have logged out of the forum and then tried the engineer search as a new punter and it still throws up invalid as soon as I select a manufacturer?

Tried on both iPad and PC as well.

Why should I need an account just to search for an engineer?

    Which account would that be?

Surely Joe Public doesn’t even have to register to use the engineer search?

Still doesn’t explain why when using my own postcode all manufacturers that I have tried come up invalid?

    Re: Engineer search

It won’t even register M35 which is kosher but it will accept my OL2 code.
Ad doesn’t explain why every make I enter comes up invalid?

    A drain time out.
These Indesit machines are prone to pump obstructions, usually small pieces of glass or bone getting stuck inside the drain pump.

Pump can be accessed from underneath once you have removed the mains plug. Just follow the grey drain hose back into the machine to locate the pump.

You don’t tell us what make and model it is. Some of the fridge guys may know of model specific areas that need checking.

Sadly it could be so badly ingrained you may never shift it fully. πŸ™

One area that often gets missed when deep cleaning is the inside of the lower edge of the door seal. Furl it back to check it out.

Make sure the customer is not turning the machine off in the middle of the drying cycle as well. πŸ˜‰

Sounds like an airflow or overheating problem. When you say β€˜blown’ I assume you just mean open circuit not down to earth. The overload is inside the element on these.

Question, will this only be visible and open to use for WTA members only?

I can see the advantage of WTA members only for selling but surely as big an audience as possible is best for buying, assuming there is some way to restrict non WTA members from selling that is. πŸ™‚

If fitted the head of the rivet can be seen looking inside the drum at the back.
