def looks like youve got an internal leak which means youd need a fridge eng to top it up, even then its a short term fix, if it is leaking it will do so again

lots of these cooker hoods are made by either CATA ( appleson ) or TEKA and they all suffer from premature motor failure. a lot of the time its the thermal fuse on the motor coil which you can purchase from RS components and replace if you wanted to give it a bash , check the control PCB for try joints too often the relay contacts can need resoldered.

E9 sensor returns implausable readings.
Suggests failure of either : the pot detector sensor, the temperature sensor or the control/power pcb.
Sorry but its unlikely this is going to be a ” quick fix “
Couple of things you can try…. Give the glass a good clean and buff up to ensure the pot n glass get a good contact.Unplug the cooker from the mains supply ( or switch off the isolator ) leave for a couple of hours to fully discharge, then try again on the off chance the pcb might reset.
Other than that its a visit from a man with a van and lots of tools sorry.jimca007

Its really impossible to tell without a wee bit testing to see which component is shorting. Could be the solenoid, basically a coil that when energised turns into a magnet pulling up the gate to allow the gas thro, could be the ignition switch, the ignition transformer ( spark generator ) or even a faulty with the clock or cooling fan which all come into play when the main oven’s switched on, I suggest you get a second opinion by someone with the correct testing equipment ( an insulation tester/ megger ) and who knows what hes looking for to identify the correct component, guessing and throwing parts at your oven until you, by chance, find the faulty component, is an expensive technique for repairing.

you’ll need to get the back cover off the freezer and have a look at the evap. If its heavily iced 24 hrs wont clear it and the air flow will still be restricted. Check the ice coverage is uniform and right to the end of the evap, if its heavily iced in the top half and practically no ice on the bottom half, its either short of refrigerant or the compressors going down, either will require a fridge engineer, if its uniformly iced, defrost it till all the ice goes away then check the heater, inline fuses and thermostats in the defrost circuit to find whats stopping it defrosting .

ParticipantRe: ERF 2831 fridge not cooling freezer working okay
They blow cold air from the freezer up into the fridge to cool the refrigerator area, its fairly common for an ice build up behind the back cover of the freezer compartment, where the fan is , to stop the flow of air so the fridge never gets cold and the compressor continues to run trying toi make it so. First step manually defrost the freezer compartment, hot room door open leave for 48hrs , you wont see if but there can be a lot of ice in there to defrost, if it fixes it great, if it reoccurs within two weeks or so youll need to then check the defrost components , timer heater stats etc to find out why it isnt automatically defrosting.

yes, there should be a white felt ” seal ” or bearing pad whichever you prefer to call it, the LG dryer is also quite prone to the drum support wheels one at the front left under the drum and one at front right under the drum getting either very stiff due to wear or the insert the mounting pin goes thro wearing away. try giving each pin a wee squirt of WD40 or similar along the centre of the pulley to free it off and if they are worn, replace them.

ParticipantRe: Smeg dishwasher not heating but heater tested ok?
could be the pressure switch on the outlet of the heater it monitors the pressure from the wash pump if that lowers due to , for example, the filters being blocked or the pump being weak , the switch doesnt actuate and the heater doesnt get a feed

ParticipantRe: LG Direct Drive – IE Error Code
unfortunately its a VERY common fault on lg and some samsungs the hose is too bloody short and even when cable tied to clamp it to the switch, the next heavy load that causes the tub to lower good chance it’ll pop off again !

ParticipantRe: Too many suds not enough space!
or try shaving a few slivers off a bar of common garden toilet soap n stick it in the drum and do a quick wash, if for some reason youve accidentally ended up with something like fairy liquid in the drum that’ll disperse the suds.

ParticipantRe: LG Washer / dryer F1403RD , dryer not heating up
did you try the thermal fuse clamped onto the dryer duct in line with the dryer element supply for continuity , kinda looks like theres a bit of wire clamped onto the duct the fuse is under the wee clamp.
