    Hi Jim,

If you go on SIOS and want to search for this model remove the 3R at the start of the model number, and it will come up.

    Hi Paul,

That is the model number, IIRC the serial starts with either 14*** or 39***

The wash motor goes in reverse and speeds up to empty. The heater is the blue coloured metal plate that you see between the wash motor and the bottom of the basket.

Firstly the oven and the hob are two seperate appliances.

The autotimer on this oven has to be set before any function can work and it sounds like it is knackered. There are 13 different versions of this oven so we will need the 12nc number to source the correct part number.
The 12nc number is on the r/h side profile on a barcode sticker, number starts with 85****

Some of these autotimers are now obselete and they were always an expensive part so it might be time for a new oven.

Happy new year to all, lets hope it is better than last…

    A thought for today 😆
New year resolutions are simply cheques that men draw on a bank where they have no money in their account.

    Re: s20brsb21-a/g

Couple of points to consider here.
Are you sure about the serial number? this is one of the 1st models of the side by side and most were fitted with the original boards ie: before week 30 2003. IIRC the older back boards have a black plastic cover and the newer one have a cream coloured cover

If it is one of the later ones chattering can be caused by either the front, back or both boards
Most times it is the back but I have had a few with front boards only causing this problem.
Part number for front board (bare PCB) is 481221848184

It is a john Guest type fitting, look at the picture HERE. To remove grab it in the centre of the straight connector and push the dark grey collar towards the centre whilst pulling the pipe. They can be a bit stiff at times

It is a Whirlpool. Model 85451390141

Probably a dodgy timer, I had a few where the cog on the timer motor would slip and it would stop the programme.
